LW~ you are not ment to be following the lists, I seem to remember you are MENT to be having 'crafting type time', I hope you have done some of that as well this week.
I swear they're taking the p!ss - one of the other chaps sent 173 beer scores today, but thankfully, his were on Excel sheets, so it only took me an hour and a half to process them - I've only just finished!:cool:oh my goodness
just totalled the NETT column for this year on MY page of my e bay sales spreadsheet. Over £600!
And I have just 'investigated' my terramundi, which I save £2 coins in and which is not even a quarter full and there's over £100 in there!
I investigated it with a ruler in the slot;)
I've been saving £2 coins in an old Glenlivet tin, and when I checked yesterday there was over £100 in there - so that's how we're funding the trip to the craft fair tomorrow.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I was supoosed to be going to a ball tomorrow. Alien territory for me but I WAS going to go and the dress I was loaned is too small. (Per Una are seriously mean with sizing;)) anyhoo...
I cannot justify the expense of a ballgown (min £100) but I absolutely cannot BEAR the prospect of even trying to find one and trying on. I hate trying on. I hate clothes shopping (and always have) I have bits that I would prefer to be covered. And probably can't be in a ball gown. So underwear would be needed (working underwear as opposed to basic underwear if you get my drift). So I am going to cut my losses and I've decided to cry off. The £40 for the ticket's gone, but in the long run I must have 'saved' at least a further £150.
And how can I go to a ball when I haven't even got an oven I can close without a plank wedging the door shut?
And I don't want to spend THAT much time shopping anyway!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

There's loads of ballgowns on ebay, cheap too, especially if you look in the wedding section. ETA just realised its tomorrow....oops.
I've done some stuff, mainly batch cooking and a bit of clearing up the dining room table and the kitchen.
Tried to rest again today, feeling wiped out generally and no signifcant improvement, 1 step forward, 2 back at the mo. Ho hum.
Have also decided to give my DD's money for christmas which will save me a fortune plus they're very happy. I'll still do a stocking for them and some little bits but :j so glad that's sorted.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Valli~~ I take my terraimundi (sp) to the post office and weigh it there, empty it was 700g, I also put £2 coins in it, a £2 coin is 12g, so with some simple maths you can work the total out, man at post office thinks I am mad (nothing new there then) till I told him how much was in there! last check it was £750. I still have approx 3 inches at the top to fill. I reckon that is my holiday flight for December 2012, all this flylady business over the years has made me organised, well I am for me!!
Re the dress get round the charity shops / local ebayers like the others have said. If you really are not going can you sell your ticket back to the organisers, if the event is sold out they may have a waiting list.............
LW~ (IMO) it is time you told the real ale folk to go and do one, and refuse to load up any more of these scores or what ever, it time to make YOU time, I know you feel you will be letting them down by not doing it, but if you carry on doing it, they are going to let you, by refusing and send the information / what ever you have back to the leader, you are forcing their hand and they will find someone to do it. I am more than sure you have done 'your turn' in time anyway.
Rest of you lovely flyladies rise and shine, time to get up and get on with your lists:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Last nights washing up put away
Sandwiches for lunch made
Cat fed
Off to list on ebay for a bit, then work, if I don't reappear by about 6pm or so, can you look on ebay for me, as I may have listed myselfby then, after the work week I have had!
(Is listing your self allowable under ebay standards / rules?)
Any way have a good day, happy flying, and remember to make YOU time.

Morning Kaz:wave:
I've emptied the WM, put away the washing up and folded the stuff from the maiden - will that do :rotfl:
Valli great news on the bay sales. I hate clothes shoppping, hate posh dos and can understand your thinking.
LameWolf I really think you should set a date for giving up the beer stuff, tell the people now in advance and stick to the date. You are wasting energy you need not only in doing the stuff but in the emotions which go with it.
Lots to do this weekend so I'll have a little list now:
Today:
Take boys to squash/work
Go into town - bank, return, shoe laces, charity shop, small food shop
Mop floors
S&S bathroom/shower room
Garden - leaves, plants, shed, bulbs, logs, wormery, compost
DS3 friend?
Ironing
DH to do a bit in the study
Tomorrow:
DS3 cricket trials - DH to do
Look at window problems
Fix blinds
List a couple of bits on ebay
Consider holiday

Morning Flyfolks
Dailies to do then dance school then cooking etc
Would like to tackle the concervatory as it gets very wet through condensation. It gets very dirty compared to the rest of the house. It has no heating 1 pu wall, 2 glass walls and plastic roof. I don't no where all the dirt comes from.
Santa needs to do some wrapping and may try to start on writing the CCs0
