I'm going to answer this as if I presume this is genuine.

When the child is born you will need to get a DNA test done straight away and if it turns out the child is yours you will have to pay CSA for it. Having said that I don't know what the rules are if you are behind bars.

If you are the father you will be entitled to see the child even if you are in prison.

I suppose anyone who hadn't seen a contraceptive pill before might mistake a paracetamol tablet for one

If she is 15 I'm afraid you have committed a criminal offence by sleeping with her. Even if the baby isnt yours you will still have to face up to this charge.

Like i said, the police considered me innocent, so i served a few weeks sentence, and am living the rest off on the register..

But the police have let her family slander my name, and watched them spread it around, spreading SOA rumours around is against the law..

And yes i did mistake it, also i myself have only ever taken 3 paracetamol, and they were dissolvable..

Paying the CSA isnt my major problem, its the fact theyre allowing that child to be brought into this family..

If it helps anyone to understand this case, it wasn't "Casual Sex"

We had been in a 9month relationship, and were living together "technically"

And no i wouldnt be given custody..

Is it worth me ringing social services and sending them back out there?

Right, I'm going to assume this is a genuine query from a young man in prison.

Really, you have already been given the advice, expressed very succinctly by black saturn and others. So I'll recap:

Get the DNA test done when the baby is born. If it is yours you will have to pay for it. Whether you will have to pay while you are in prison I have no idea. But you will have to pay £15% of any salary when you come out.

You do not have the right to just walk away if the child is yours.

If it is not yours (or even if it is), learn your lesson, don't sleep with underage girls again, and whoever you sleep with use precautions.

(Just read another post and found out you're no longer in prison, so ignore those bits).
