If you knew your 15 year old daughter was going to be alone in a house with a 19 year old boy for such a long period of time WTH did you not do anything about it and i don't mean contacting SS, i mean why did you not go and remove your daughter from this situation both parents are as bad as each other IMHO his for letting them stay in the house and you for not actually doing anything

Epona, a safe place would have been at home, with you - if your daughter was having none of that, then she was clearly out of control so I can't see why the lad is getting the blame for everything?

seven day weekend. yes so did the police and SS and it was myself and my partner who finally went and got her out the house because THEY wouldn't.

Shellsuit. yes if she had been safe at home I wouldn't have involved SS. But when you have a pregnant 14 year old trying to escape through windows and goodness knows what else you need helping out.Thats why I involved the police and SS.

Though I would like to comment that since Adam has been off the scene my daughter has had a personality transplant and definatly for the better.

Epona, I'm not familiar with the conditions attached to anyone one the SOR but does it not contain some sort of undertaking that an individual cannot consort with minors? If so, why on earth stopped the police from intervening? As I said, I am ignorant as to what the register requires but it does seem a toothless dog if a minor can be alone in the residence of someone on it.

Out of curiousity, has all contact between your daughter and the 'father' ceased and if so, are you now comfortable that this can be maintained? What will be the possible scenarios where dad seeks contact with your grand daughter?

welshcakes from my understanding regarding the whole senario the OP was not on the sor until the girl found out she was pregnant, then both the police and SS were involved.

Just the way i have read it, of course i could be wrong
