Welshcakes has made a very good point though. As well as lots of advice on the benefits board there will als be lots of advice on the families board and maybe some baby freebies to gain on the freebies board. It might be worth you sticking around

Thanks Welshcakes I shall bookmark it, though besides the CSA payments I'll be supporting the baby as unlike some I don't begrudge it.

Thankyou , the baby will be very much looked after and loved. I actually find it very sad that Adam's parents have no interest at all in their grandchild. We've a lovely home here and a room full of baby things just waiting for the day :-)

Just to set the record straight I actually left a message on Adam's phone asking him to contact me as to whether he would like to come to a private arrangement or go through the CSA instead of answering he chose to come on here and seek attention.

Adam why not do the sensible thing and just phone the CSA and find out where you stand. As I have no doubt it'll be just the same as they told me this morning. yes it can take months to sort out but payments are from application so if you try and hold it up you go into arrears.

Slightly off-topic, but I know a Goth who is in her forties with three children.

I don't know what to make of this thread. I knew the young man was telling a few porkies, but I still felt it was a genuine cry for help, therefore recommended trying to give him advice.

I did not look at the young girl's website as I felt it was irrelevant and didn't think it should be emblazoned around in a forum, although from what has been quoted I'd be worried if I had a fifteen-year-old daughter who talked like that, but then again, I'm an old fogey.

Now this person turns up who says she's the girl's mother? To me this person doesn't ring true. (Sorry if you are actually her mother).

It gets more like a soap opera all the time.

All I can do is repeat what I've always said, when the baby is born he should have the DNA test and if the baby is his pay up and face his responsibilities and if not walk away, learn his lesson and leave young girls alone.

if your daughrt claims income support or any benefit csa will become involved automatically, so adam will have to pay but ur daughter wont get the money

am i missing something? she has black hair and dresses how i used to when i were a teen which looks like goth to me. emos are a form of goth. so whys she taking the rise out of him?

No I don't speed read LOL I just missed out all the long quotes but do read pretty fast :-) alot of my work involves writing and edditing so I'm used to it.

epona perhaps the OP's parents aren't sure what to think maybe they are waiting until their son and your daughter and the child go and get DNA tests to prove paternity.

The OP does not have to come to any private arrangement with you or your daughter if he is disputing paternity, his best option would be to go via the CSA.
