Well the fraternity didn't bother phoning me today to let me know the outcome and they say you shouldn't have any worry when you have cancer.
Had a letter from the other parties solicitor trying to sat my hubby was at fault and that hubby turned in front of them..LOL
Funny that as my husband was driving straight ahead and the other party were turning right...
Phoned the solicitor to tell her about the letter and she asked me to take it to the claims management place for them to e mail it to her which I did.
The car is repairable (thankfully,as we can't afford to buy another one) and I picked up a copy of the report whilst there.
My lovely daughter has just hoovered downstairs for me so that's a great help and she also kept me company on the journey0 -
Taxi please excuse me if you feel I am out of order and just ignore me if you dont like my suggestion. I think you need to ring first thing Monday and demand an explanation. Whist i have huge respect for the NHS it is you who has been through cancer this is your life and your body and you need answers. Consultants are usually amazing people, but I feel sometimes they need to be reminded they are dealing with people who are not just ill, but are quite often emotionally drained. You deserve an explanation for yourself and your lovely husband and family x
Hello Wol I do hope you are okay and the guinea pigs are all fine...x0 -

You are not out of order Bast and what you suggest is good in theory. The only problem I have with that is the only way to get hold of anybody is to phone the answer machine of the breast cancer nurses ,leave a message and sit in awaiting their phone call that day or the next day.
I was really shocked when my oncolgist phoned me as he's never phoned me before..I was hoping the nurse had been asked to phone me today but obviously they hadn't.
I'm going to try to put it to the back of my mind for a few days and try to enjoy myself.I've been spending too much time in the house waiting for phone calls over the last few months.
Thanks for the hugs Beanie ..have needed those the last few days0 -
Oh Taxi it's just not on that you seem to be being kept in the dark. Like you say you shouldn't have to be worrying about phone calls etc
Try and have a better day tomorrow.
Hugs from me too

Hi Taxi.
Honestly, give me the details of the other party to the car crash and I will go and wash their mouths out with soap for lying (I just made a big batch...I have lots spare!)
I'm sorry you can't get to speak to people as easily as you should. It's rubbish.
*Hugs* *Hands over a bar of new peppermint soap* But let than harder for another 6 weeks before you use it - it's a bit soft yet. Pop it on a cake rack somewhere dark where the temperature doesn't change much until it's ready for use. Please call me 'Pickle'

Many, many hugs to you, Taxi, this is absolutely awful to hear about the delay. Completely unacceptable. As well as the **** about your OH's crash - which wasn't *his* crash, thats the point!
Thinking of you, and sending hugs your way each time.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Bit of a mixed bag today.
Had a phone call from DWP and they've put me back in support group for 12 months from 17th sept so will be getting paid again...so that's a relief.
Went to see my oncolgist today and to cut a long story short they are having a meeting next week to try to authorise a Pet scan to see where we go from there..this is what the radiologists want at this time and we'll take it from there. So they are having meeting next friday and I will be seeing onc at 11.45 am the same day..if I get the scan it will be a couple of weeks later..so no further forward0
