I've been quite productive in the phone call department today.

Firstly, I have a mobile with Tesco but they have never given me club points in the 12 months I've had it.I popped in the store a couple of weeks ago and the manager told me to phone clubcard to get the points added.Due to everything going on I only got around to it this morning ,in true tesco style I was told to call tesco mobile about it to be told they can only back date 6 months worth.I felt hard done by on principle so phoned CS at Tesco to launch a complaint and she listened and is going to send me a £10 gift card so am happy with that.

Secondly, I phoned DWP as in my shock yesterday I forgot to ask when I could expect a payment as I've not been paid since 12th september. She said I should have it by wednesday and it'll be backdated until the 17th as that is when they received my letter.

I need to get some shopping today.DD2 is off so she can go for me later

Glad to hear DWP are doing their jobs properly but very annoying with the medical people. Can you do some nice things with some of the back payment to take your mind off waiting?

    It does rather.

I agree, our taxi is remarkable! I hope that back payment comes through soon for you.

Really sorry to hear about the wait, a very worrying time for you.... :( Not good at all. Glad to see the ESA decision makers took the time to phone you personally, whilst sorting your claim out. Well done on the gift voucher and your perseverance you are made of steely stuff Taxi..(((hugs))) x

ps: Just to say your national insurance contributions will be backdated as well....

I was still getting NI contributions but not getting any money due to my 365 days on contribution based being up as they still believed I was sick enough not to work.
It is my new cancer/waiting treatment that has put me in support group. The deciscion maker couldn't have been more helpful and kept me informed at every stage even phoning to tell me that she hadn't managed to get hold of certain people and what days she'd be phoning me back.

So one or two of the decision makers have been really helpful - and you've been really pro-active with Tesco, drat them! Good for you. God, Taxi, I really hope there's some clinical progress for you soon, this waiting just seems endless :( many, many positive hugs and vibes for you.
