Sorry I havent posted for a while:o, taxi, but have been thinking of you.
So glad you seem a lot more cheerful and 'up' since a few weeks ago. You are a marvel to be so positive despite the pain you are suffering:A.
Glad you have done a great deal on the new taxi although I was a bit gobsmacked to read your comment:
am sticking to deal already have as it's a lot of paperwork to sort out for the sake of £500.
£500 would help keep me afloat financially for a few weeks, I'd be happy to do paperwork 24/7 for that amount of money! It's great that your financial situaution has improved enough for you to think that way. Being so strapped for cash where every penny is crucial just for survival is just so stressful and the last thing you need to aid a recovery in your health.
Have a good weekend and enjoy your hubby's lovely cooking:beer:
P.S. well done on the brilliant weight loss since I logged onto your diary a few weeks ago.0 -
£500 does mean a lot to us...it isn't just paperwork ..it's time and time is money too...buying and putting on a new cab is very stressful as need to get timings right so as to lose as little money as possible during down time as car has to be off road to have meters changed, stickers on and go over the pits....3 different places I've got to get to work in sync so as not to lose too much money.0

Morning Taxi (just) ...
I can understand your reluctance to change the deal with all of that to-ing and fro-ing involved - it does sound a lot of money at first, though with the stress and effort involved, yes, best left alone maybe. You do whats right for you, thats really important, especially since with all the pain you're experiencing (which makes concentration difficult anyway) you're barely at the recovery stage:grouphug:
I just had an amazing weekend away at Stongehenge (or rather, the one hour we were allowed inside the stone ring was the focus of the weekend) - a lot of healers were there, and I started wondering if you'd had any healing, or did any healing meditations yourself ... does it feel like any help if you did, I wonder? It can seem very powerful, if you're up for it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
that sounds good KC xx
Saw my oncologist today and have to have a bone scan to rule out bone cancer and see him in 6 weeks. He is then going to refer me to a rheumatologist to see if we can get to the bottom of all this pain and get it sorted...we don't think it's cancer as I felt exactly the same when I had the bone scan last time and it was arthritis but at least with the scans we have something for the rheumatologist to look at...go back to see onc 21st oct and he said as soon as I've had the scan I need to phone his secretary for her to make sure the reports are done for me seeing him.
The pups have been a real pain in the !!! today...they chewed through the speaker wires and knocked the electric off, chewed papers up,pooed behind couch and under dining table and were general pita.
DD1 was going to come at tea time with JJ but didn't show up0 -
My god, it just keeps going on, doesn't it
I'm glad you suspect it *isn't* cancer, but how horrendous to have to check. And the last bit of your post is especially sad too
Lots of hugs, Taxi.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
At least the tests will rule bone cancer out, it's best to be on the safe side. Taxi it must seem never ending for you. Sorry to hear DD1 didn't show up with JJ. I hope there's a good reason for this and she's not just being spiteful. You don't deserve that sort of treatment. Big hugs from me too.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Fingers and toes crossed that scans are clear :A
Rotten that DD didn't bring JJ round, hopefully she'll reschedule soon and you can see your boy:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
being her usual ignorant self she didn't let me know she answered DD2s text message...she'd been at work all day and was tired and had sore feet and told her she'd come another day...I'll not hold my breath0
