Thanks all not a lot happening around here.
I haven't been out for days and even then it was only to do the banking at the PO and I nearly passed out in there.I hadn't felt well for days and had burning behind my shoulder plus was sweating loads. However,I had a full course of erythromycin in the house..no idea why...so have been taking them and feel a little better.
DH is taking me to the disability shop tomorrow to have a look at those walking frames with seats and wheels...am hoping that one will help me walk better which in turn might make me feel better.
I have a phone consultation with the orthopaedic team on weds morning..since when do you have these things over the phone...hopefully then I'll be referred to the right departments to get help to get me more mobile/control the pain...am fed up of it all to be honest.
Still not seen JJ and DD still not answering the phone to me.
Got my quote for taxi insurance the other day ..just under £1k so will leave it until later in the week so that the CC kicks over in to the next month as I pay the insurance in full and the CC in full...so no interest.
Poor DH still working lots of hours to keep things ticking over.
Myself am on pinhooks waiting to see if I'm still going to get my ESA as sent my form to Atos..if they don't pay me I still can't go to work as struggling to sit/stand and walk.
Puppies are doing great and both sleeping at the moment.Ben my GS absolutely adores them and has actually found he likes to play..which is fab...Tess my Rottie tolerates them and tries to play but she's so big, loud and clumsy that she frightens them a little.
    Think that's everything

Taxi, I'm so sorry to hear things are still as bad. I can understand you not posting - thank heavens you have the puppies to bring a smile to your face, because all of this sounds awful :(

Glad you've got the appointment to get you to the right referral - and even the erythromycin, tho remember that might be masking some of your symptoms, so don't be backwards in coming forwards at the appointment, if you know what I mean :)

    lots going on here..
Hadn't been to WWs for a few weeks so went yesterday and had lost 9lbs..so that's good
Pain still excruciating so on strong pain killers which are helping a little but make me a bit off my head.
Had my phone appt last week and they came up with physio for middle of oct so asked for any cancellations and got a call friday to say they've got some appts for mid sept.
Managed to speak to DD the other day for a few minutes..just general stuff but a start.

On the taxi front paid £964 for the insurance the other day and received a letter from council to say the pits are due 29th oct but as the car is 5 years old now will need one every 6 months...
We have decided to put a new one on for many reasons.
A brand new one has warranty for repairs, cheaper on fuel, cheaper on subs etc etc...
we have decided on the Berlingo multi space.
    Now here's my dilemma....

I can buy from local citroen
    car price £14334
    £334 deposit
    £14k on finance = £309.17pm x 60
    TOTAL=£18884.70

I can go to Taxi direct
    £11800 cash
    or
    no deposit and £252 pm x 60
    TOTAL=£15120

Obviously taxi direct is my best option for either cash or finance..but need to see if local citreon will match first.

Now my dilemma is that I have an offset mortgage and can take the cash out of there to pay for the car and this only puts my mortgage payment up by £212 p/m so saving another £40 p/m and will be paid off in 4 years 7 months as that's how long I have left on my mortgage.

    What would you do?
  • Which method of finance is easier to write off as a tax expense? Can you claim the whole £252 a month if you do it monthly rather than if you do the whole lot cash there's a limit on the amount you can put each year.

Hope the physio helps with the pain, rest up and keep warm x
  • Sorry I can't help with the finance bit - and sorry about the pain.

Well done on the weightloss though - that's brilliant!

    :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:
