Thanks..I'll maybe apply for a blue badge.I hate applying for things as feel like a scrounger.
Haven't been up to much even though I had JJ as the weather was way too hot for us both.JJ and I had lunch out the other day when we picked the taxi plate up but he wanted to go home straight after as he said it was like soldiers having a war in his head...he meant he had an headache bless him.
We popped to see his mummy on saturday and had lunch but nothing else all weekend.
I'm trying to psyche myself up to take him to the pictures as he wants to see despicable me2 or monsters something or other...lol...
The swelling in my feet has eventually gone down..thankfully and I managed to go to the PO in car to do the banking today.
Ben has had to have his collar of shame put back on as he's been licking his stitches with the buster collar on and he made them red raw....we are still waiting for his biopsy results but hopefully they'll be back by friday when he goes to have his stitches out.0 -
Nothing about being a scrounger in applying for a blue badge.
You pay for them.

Best of luck with the puppy proofing, I remember Misha chomping her way through the legs of two pine TV tables. Good roughage at least :rotfl: Someone suggested wrapping tin foil round the legs of furniture, don't know if it works as she'd gone off wood by then.
Hope the Blue Badge goes well. Have you ever applied for DLA? MacMillan did my form as I just couldn't face it. It's not scrounging and if you're not deserving of help like this then goodness knows who is.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Don't know anything about puppy-proofing but could write a book about kitten/cat-proofing:rotfl:
I think you're a star taking on two puppies with all you have to cope with . They are very lucky puppies.
OH enjoyed his short break in Blackpool, he loves it there especially the trams. Seemed to spend a lot of his time (and money, they are quite expensive:eek:) on them:rotfl:. The hotel was massive and very noisy but the food was excellent so he was happy with that bit.0 -
Don't for one minute think I can puppy proof the house..lol..but definitely need to make sure all shoes trainers etc are upstairs and to make sure there are no wires they can chew.
Lost 0.5lb at WWs but happy with that as not really stuck to the plan the past 10 days.
I need to get some MSE ways about me again as whilst not in debt our savings are running very low at the moment so need to cut back on stuff to save some money to build them up again.
We are on an eat out of the freezer/cupboards sort of thing at the moment and only buying absolute necessities when needed to top up the meals.Need hubby to bring carrots and potatoes in tomorrow as I've got a leg of pork out which should do a couple of days.0 -
