ATOS are a law unto themselves and the cancer questions are different now and actually include questions on recovering from cancer so that may help..the oncolgist needs to fill that bit in.

Where does time go?I haven't posted on here for over a week.
Haven't had energy for anything as this weather is too much for me even to the point of feeling weak/faint and that's indoors..lol
I'm in London for 3 days from monday and am not looking forward to it in this heat.
Lost 2lbs at WW this week
I haven't phoned the centre yet for appt about therapies.
Received an Atos medical form to fill in for my sick benefit..hope they don't find me fit for work.
Can't think much else has happened so I'll finish on the best bit...saw my oncologist on monday for scan results and I am no evidence of disease for now...need to go back 9th september for check up and he'll then refer me for my next scan

Good news on the scan and you must get help with ATOS-after all they may be ( loosely termed) medically trained, but probably not as knowledgeable as your Oncologist-who is the expert!! If you aren't fit, then you aren't fit. No amount of-can you lift your hands up to put garments on..will show that you are fit for work.

Great news on the scan Taxi!! Woo hoo!!! I've got a Jack Russell - she's 18 months old and is slightly bigger than my cats. She is such a character and I love her to bits. Well done on weight loss too! I got Lymphoma Specialist Nurse to fill in Mr SA's ATOS form - she must have done something right because he was "promoted" to support group and got "pay rise".
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Got back from London very late wednesday evening.Had a good time but could've done without the heat as I was melting.Due to my hips not being too good and my feet swelling like balloons...I did mostly sit down stuff...bus tour, river cruise, london eye, duck tour as I was too hot/sore to walk much but will go back when I'm a lot fitter.Meeting up with friends was good though.
JJ was dropped off here yesterday and is here until monday plus loads of people in and out all day yesterday so this is the 1st chance I've had to get on here.
Need to go out in a bit and get pick up the new plate for the taxi...ironically I'll need to get a taxi there and back as can't park anywhere near the council offices and car parks will be full plus mobility issues.
Then Ben needs to go to vets at tea time for check up from his op the other day.
