That sounds like the right decision for you, Taxi, glad you could *make* the decision, thats hard enough when you're in pain. And getting the local place to match it must be a good idea - always good to have a local person on your side when you need repairs.
Take care.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
The money is now sat in my account gaining interest awaiting the new cars arrival.I'll also gain another couple of pounds per month on my 123 account from my mortgage DD.
The service/warranty would've been at the local citreon garage anyways as part of the terms from the taxi centre.0 -
You've sorted it really well! How are you feeling?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

HI Karma...not too bad just the pain as usual.
The saga re the new car carries on..lol....the taxi centre phoned me today to see whether I was going to place my order with them.I explained that Citreon had price matched them and that I'd ordered from them.We finished the conversation and the phone rang again it was the taxi centre 5 minutes later and he said he'd knock a further £500 off the price...gobsmacked I said I'd think about it.
They rang back at tea time but didn't have the heart to answer the phone...
Can't believe the desperation of both to do the sale..lol0 -
Hi taxi - glad to hear things are starting to pick up. Hope the pain gets sorted soon. Deal on new taxi sounds good.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Can't believe how much pain you're still in...is there nothing they can do to address it? I've still some pain but fleeting and inconsequential in comparison, I do wish they could sort it for you as it's so draining.
Are you going to take the deal with another £500 off or stick to the existing one? Good place to be at least having the choice.
I'm seeing the general psychologist tomorrow and cancer specific on Friday. No idea what the difference in approach will be. I'm not in that really dark place anymore (never watch Midnight Express while coping with scary situation) so cancer one may be a one-off session.
