I did take SB for sailing lessons a few years ago. It all went a bit pear shaped and we capsized in the harbour at Port Edgar on the first morning of "Introduction to Sailing for Complete Novices" as it was blowing a Force 5 and the instructors decided to chance it.
I have never been so scared in my life. Went back after lunch but the eejits then proceeded to calm me down by proving how far they could tip the boat without it capsizing again. Next day I couldn't stop shaking and felt sick. SB said it was great because it proved there were things I couldn't do. How does it feel being mortal!! Little brat, it's his favourite story to share with people.
All my sailing round the world books are now relegated to a far corner of a bookcase. Now flying is something new...once I get the mortgage paid off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Seemingly you can do an intensive 3 week course in Florida - I can't reverse a car but planes only do forward
