Evening all..not been about as not much to say.
I spent most of the week in the house as I've been tired and had a bit of a cold/cough and have felt a bit down too.Think it's all the sad news everywhere.
DD2 has someone she knows from school having an op to remove a brain tumour today ,he's only 24,somebody threw themselves on to the railway line near home yesterday,a 47 year old PE teacher dropped dead suddenly whilst at school, the tornados in America, that poor soldier so brutally murdered..the world just seems so horrible at the moment.None of these people I know personally but it's all made me feel so sad.
Moving on had appt with Onc today and he's pleased with me.I'll be having my mammo next week and a scan in June followed by appointment with him again in July.
I lost 2lbs this week at WWs so slow and steady there.
JJ will be here tomorrow until monday tea time.
My DIL has been in slow labour since last saturday and we are still waiting..lol..hopefully she'll have her soon.
Think that's about it for my news..not very interesting.
Almost forgot I'm going for a facial tomorrow that DD2 treated me to for mothers day and must get some shopping too.0 -
There *is* sad news around at the mo, Taxi, its undeniable - that bridge this morning, too, and a couple of earthquakes, even, tho no reports of casualties (yet). But I promise you good stuff is going on as well - babies are being born, toddlers are learning to run, people are getting married, new risks are being taken, new achievements celebrated.
For you too! Look at the second para you wrote!
Love and kisses, Taxi
