Sooo pleased the scans were clear and that you have finished treatment AND that you are getting out and about again.........it's been a while since I've had chance to look in on you - really happy to see the big improvements.

Sorry not been about for a few days.
DH wasn't well so had a few days off and JJ wasn't well either. Both had coughs and colds. We stayed in most of the weekend and on Sunday DD2 and JJ nipped to the shops to get cough medicine and a new kettle.
Monday I just stayed in but on tuesday a friend and I went out for a drive and lunch and ended up getting lost so bought myself a sat nav for my car today so have spent a frustrating few hours setting that up tonight. We have a sat nav in the cab but I couldn't risk taking that one as hubby may have needed it so he told me to get one for my car.
Today I had the fluffy bits cut off my hair and bought the sat nav.
I'm meeting up with the BC girls in London in July and decided to stay for a couple of days to make it a bit of a break so booked my hotel and train tickets on saturday. The tickets arrived yesterday which was quick.
Thinking of taking JJ on one of those national holiday 2 day coach trips to Lodon and legoland.Think he'll enjoy that and will be a little adventure for him and it's only £89 for me and £79 for him and then includes hotel, coach travel and admission..if I book tomorrow I'll get 10% off...so am going to book it.
This has been an expensive week but what the hell it's only money and we only live once.It will have been paid out of savings so no debt.

On the health front I have a follow up appointment next week with my Onc and a mammo the following week...think that is everything going on here

Popping by and waving... :hello: So glad to hear that things seem to be getting back on an even keel for you again - fingers crossed that the appointment next week goes smoothly.

the cough/cold has been doing the rounds here too - there's a lot of them about this year, I think it's the way winter dragged on....and on.....and on....! The cold bit seems to clear quite fast but the cough lingers a bit. OH has been irritating me with it for about a fortnight now...I keep telling him he's attention-seeking which seems to help...! :D

Lovely idea to take JJ to legoland. I'm sure you'll both have a wonderful time.
