Did the shopping today by myself and nearly passed out..won't be doing that again in a hurry.

DD2 and I went to pick JJ up from after school club tonight and took him to the pub/carvery where his mum works.We got tea and when he was nearly finished eating we told him the news with his mummy there...London bit didn't impress him but he's excited about legoland,going on a coach with a picnic,having a 3 course dinner at a hotel,sleeping there and having bacon and all the trimmings for breakfast when he gets up..he said to his mum that they should go and sleep at hotels so that he can have a cooked breakfast...bless him...then he went on and on about legoland..roll on the 8th June.
DD2 was telling him that she was going out tonight and he said " what again, you are 24 and shouldn't drink too much or else you'll lose your memory and might get arrested..I should bang your head against that brick wall as you never listen and you go out every friday"...LOL he's 8 going on 18..his face was a picture when he was telling her...he was doing it in a concerned way and had us all in stitches

Passing out with the effort of shopping doesn't sound good hope you feel okay today - but great that you had a good laugh at JJ's antics - kids really do come out with some stuff, don't they ?

Very quiet weekend as I'm very tired and a bit skint.We haven't even been outside the door this weekend !!!!
Luckily,JJ was understanding when I apologised to him for not taking him out.He told me not to worry as he knew that I'd paid for his trip,bought him new clothes and took him out for dinner on friday.He's been as good as gold and we've just spent the last hour doing his homework and he's now on the computer playing some game or other.DH is cooking the dinner which I'm really looking forward to as I'm really hungry.
I need to do the washing shortly as I haven't washed his uniform yet.
Next weekend we're going to a place with loads of giant inflatables if the weather is good.
Forgot to add that the tickets for legoland came yesterday..JJ was so excited
