Thanks you two...am feeling chirpier as long as I don't think of chemo.
Mental health worker woman phoned earlier to say that she'd had a meeting with psycologist and discussed a plan.Apparently, shes going to work on getting me out of the house first and is coming thursday afternoon to see me...my lot think I've become agrophobic as have very rarely ventured out of the house in months0 -
this is the old taxi coming back, not taking anything lying down and getting to the bottom of things,
It sounds like the new team are on the ball, and hopefully there be able to help, have they made any plans re CBT yet?
Completly digressing........
I changed my car last week, now got astra sxi (new to me), considering had last car for 11yrs........ dads now had that one, his gone to the scrapyard....... I got him double from what we were originally offered for his, but was a 10 mile drive!! - so he drove his, I followed - typical scrap yard - deep in mud - my boots just attracted it... about to get in the drivers seat - dad pipes up, you sit in the passenger seat (ok!!) I'll take your boots off so you don't get the mat dirty, but then you can't drive in socks, so I had better drive u home!!
He was like lord muck....... playing with electric windows, testing the controls, even enjoying the up and down of the seat - anyone would think I;d brought a Rolls...... while they do say boys and toys!" xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Can just picture your Dad sat there playing..lol
Am not sure about the CBT yet but think they have a lot of issues that they need to deal with with me...she definitely said that they are planning on getting me out of the house first as that should help my mood before they work on other stuff...complex case me..lol0 -
Ohhhhhh that sounds like a good plan Taxi - I know how much being in the house for just over 3 months started to get to me!
I very nearly ended up having a panic attack the first time I went in the supermarket (and it's only a little one ... and it was mid afternoon / mid week so not busy) as there were so many people there & I couldn't cope with it.

On bad days I do things by stages. So clean my teeth and back to bed for a chapter of my book. Contact lens in then chapter of book. Get towel and all my clothes together then chapter of book. Shower and dress then book etc.
Somehow makes it more manageable for me...the little things aren't too daunting.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
