Taxi - with you saying the phase purple angel coming into your mind its usually for a reason, did a quick flick around, and was quite interesting what I found,we had a book about Angels, and copied this bit.
"you may be sent purple angels to deliever the wisdom and strength you need to follow through on the specific changes you need to make at that point in time, in areas of your life.
Also says if you pray to the purple ray of the angel - it means thats your
may also help you relate to other people with mercy, relying on power that God may send you through his angels to forgive them when they hurt you
.
Purple ray angels may also come on missions to deliver peace and joy to you when you've successfully made changes God has called you to make."
Not that i'm religious, but seemed so appropriate in terms of the scan - the nurses may put you in a position to scan you that makes you in discomfort, and with you having success with the scan.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Aw, Taxi, sweet of you to think about me and my travel tonight ... I decided not to go this time - the snow is forecast to start later than previously, and though I quite wanted to join in the thing that was going on tonight in particular, there'll be other times, and I'd just be concerned about a deluge of snow. Plus I wanted to do a supermarket shop, and I can't manage the walking for both the shop and the event, too much foot pain. Such is life.
I'm back and in the warm, and cupboards are well stocked up again.
Hope you enjoyed Harvester - they can be pretty good, I think, you're getting out, but they're quite comfy and roomy, its not like being jammed at a table and you can't move2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
very interesting mum2one...am not a religious person but the phrase purple angel just kept coming into my head
KC glad you are safe and sound in your house
It's snowed on and off here but not stuck which is fine by me
love Harvester not the cheapest of places but consistant quality and nice and roomy and nobody stared at my bald head..lol
took the signed paperwork back plus cheque to accountant for his fee so that's another job done and will pay the tax bills later so that I don't forget about them
Haven't done my accounts since august so intend to catch up with those over the next few days and then keep on top of them0 -
I wish I'd gone out now! We didn't have any snow at all, it stayed much further north - glad it hasn't stuck round by you, that motorway looks absolutely dreadful. My brother's inland from you, hope he's okay too, he's travelling home from a UK break today
Now I've submitted *last* year's accounts, I too am starting to muck about with this year'sgood luck with that :kisses3:

KC..better to be safe than sorry though. It snowed quite heavily here last night but didn't stick too much and was gone this morning.Quite icy this morning on both the road and pavements so no going out for me.
Well done on accounts being submitted and good luck with this years...
Paid the tax bills last night so they are now out of the way and am feeling good that we still have money in the bank even though DH has just had 2 weeks off as well so no income and obviously still business expenses going out...am quite proud of that as we are usually scratting about for the tax money.
My accounts are done up to August and really must catch up with the rest over the next week or so...DH is off until monday so not much point until he goes back as he interupts my concentration.
Managed to get some of the washing done today so am starting to get a little bit of normality back.
DH popped to Lidl this morning for essentials and is now cooking dinner...roast chicken, mash, carrots, cabbage and gravy..yum
I'm just going to spend the day chilling...nothing new there then0 -
Nowt wrong wi chilling taxi ... I like to partake in it often0

Have just been doing some MSE stuff.Seems a long time since proactively doing anything MSE.
Halifax...just moved £1000 around the 3 accounts for the £15 rewards.I do this every month as it's easy money but sadly, good things come to an end.In May you need to have 2 DD set up on each account to still get the free fivers but I'm not going to bother moving 6 DDs to make use of this..so will get another couple of months out of it...savings rates used to be good at Halifax but recent ones looking rubbish so will move savings when my rates run out.
Santander...I use this as my main account and have the zero account but have just applied to have it changed to the 123 account which pays 3% interest on balances between £3k-£20k plus various amounts of cashback on all bills incuding my mortgage with them for a cost of £2 p/m so will be quids in..so should hear about that shortly.
I usually have more than £3k in this account anyway but it pays less interest for balances under this amount...I will pop our savings from Halifax in there too once our Isa rates/savings rate lower.
Am hoping that at some time the savings will match the mortgage so that we can pay that off.
Hopefully now that I'm feeling a bit better I can pop out for the shopping and buy from Lidl/Aldi as DD normally goes to Asda and spends way too much averaging £200 every 10 days !!!!!!!!!!....so I will save loads.
I can't shave anything off bills as they are what they are and are not frivolous. We pay all insurances yearly in full so no savings there.
So shopping is where big savings will come from0
