Today was a waste of time at the hospital.I arrived at the hospital to find that they'd not booked me in for today so no chemo stuff ready and would be there until about 7pm.
Pretty annoyed as apparently they were expecting me last thursday,so why did they not phone me when I didn't show up then they could've spotted and sorted their error.Hence they still had me booked for this thursday.
I am seeing my oncologist on weds and will get bloods done ready to have chemo thursday morning.
Nothing else to report

That's a pain and very annoying. All it takes is somebody to think outside the box but it never seems to happen. Take care.

Oh for goodness sake :mad:

See the communication in these places ...... I phoned (as wasn't well and wasn't sure if my infusion would / should go ahead) - explained the problem to someone who said they'd pass it on and someone would "get back to me if needed"

No-one got back to me, so I went and then it turned out the message hadn't been passed on :mad: (and I didn't end up getting the infusion that day)

Oh Taxi (((hugs))) as I know how much you'll have had to psyche yourself up to go in the first place xx

Thats dreadful :mad: for Taxi and for Rising ... the effort it takes to get in there, when you're so unwell, and an admin !!!!-up stops the whole thing from happening horrible.
