Thanks everyone and Happy New Year to you all too.I hope you all enjoyed whatever celebrations you had last night.Myself, I was here by myself whilst DD2 was out partying and DH working...so I just chilled and watched TV.
Have found a place near Chorley for my wellies with free wellie socks thrown in so we are going there tomorrow and hopefully will find somewhere for a nice lunch too whilst there....fingers crossed they have the colour I want in the size I think I am as they are limited stock in that size0 -

Went for wellies today and the Aubergine purple ones that I wanted were too tight on my calf and didn't fit right so got a pair of black hunters with expanding calf which werte ok....whilst there hubby spotted some le chameau wellies at £185 which felt lovely and really good quality...
We paid for the hunters and left and went to Lytham to have breakfast where hubby saoid he thought I should've got the le chameau ones as they were loads better quality....so very naughtily we went back to buckshaw village
and exchanged the hunters for the le chameau ones which were a lot better fit and softer and all round better quality and as DH said quality and comfort are key and he treated me to them
Le Chameau is apparently what Kate and Wills are wearing now.I got a free boot jack with them and will be getting a free boot bag sent out to me when they are back in stock....who knew wellies could cost so much.
I need some nice thick socks now but draw the line at £44.99 for the barbour ones though they were really nice..lol0 -
Those are truly lovely wellies, I'm very envious! The boots will last forever though, so will pay for themselves over time.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
