Hi Taxi! Just got back yesterday, so I've been catching up with your thread - glad you had such a long sleep after the big chemo (that was the big one you were mentioning, is that right?).
Totally understand feeling deprived by having to avoid all the germs that are going around. I'm basically well, apart from the arthritis, and I avoid like crazy voluntarily, to the extent that on my long journey back north for Christmas (12 hours!) I drank as little as possible so I wouldn't have to go to the loo too much. Can't stop altogether as I get coughing fits if I don't drink properly. And as for using a bit of clothing to touch the door handles - forget it! I use tissues, and throw them away!
A warm hat ... I knew there was something I should add to the hunt in the sales, I don't have *anything* .... I'm off to Sainsbo this morning, so I'll probably see if there's anything there, I can't see I'll be using it very often so I think that'll do. But you need a good quality one, don't you - glad the one you've got is so nice
ETA - just seen Seaxwyn's sign - omg, Seax, look how its going down! You're doing it! **happy dance**2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It was my normal chemo the other day my big one is this week...yuck
Feeling quite cold today and have a bit of bone pain so have just shoved the heating on for a bit.
Roast beef dinner again today with leftovers..yum
DH has just been to Lidl for bread and bits that were needed ...he wouldn't let me go as very cold and windy today and obviously loads of people in there.
Today will be yet another lazy day for me as have no energy0 -
Lazy days are good days my son keeps telling me.
It's sleeting up here so happily on couch, in dressing gown doing nothing but thinking about a trip to the kitchen to make some tea.
