Well done Taxi...I was so freaked first round and no veins they gave me Lorazepam and reflexology. You're so strong and brave and I think most of MSE is willing you on.
You will get through it - you are wonderful and so say all of us :A:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

christmas dinner at my other daughters house was nearly off too as she went to visit people in Manchester and was at a party and had her money robbed out of her purse leaving her no money for gas/electric and christmas food...she's had to pawn her engagement ring ...feel bad about this but have no spare money to help her due to me not working...so crappy christmas for her the robbing gits need to rot in hell0 -
Just typed a long post and lost it
Pants to everyone having cold - I know what you mean though as I'm so paranoid about catching things. I hate going to the Drs (and refuse to go in the waiting rooms with all the sick people ) and Hospital now .... I'm getting really paranoid about using things like PIN machines at shops (god knows how often they get cleaned:eek:) door handles etc...... Think I'll have to resort to carrying baby wipes or anti-bac gel everywhere with me:o
As for your other DD having her purse stolen ... and at a party where she presumably knew everyone .... disgusting!
Seems a bit lame now but ..... I really do hope you have a good Christmas xxGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Me neither - 2 x auto-immune diseases & now on 3 immunosuppressant drugs (amongst others) but they expect you to go to the Drs surgery every 2 weeks to have bloods done!

Hi Taxi!
Sorry I've not been around much but with moving and then getting internet here, things have been a bit rubbish in the old communications department. I've been thinking about you a lot, though!
I'm very sorry to hear about what happened to your daughter: I'm ashamed to say it happened on my patch.I join you in wishing them the most miserable of Christmases, and I hope that no good comes of it for them: karma is a b*tch when stirred!
I'm sorry the chemo and everything has been so stressful and means that you can't go to parties and things. I hope your family are making it a nice Christmas of it for you in other ways, though.
Take care, dear Taxi, and I hope to speak to you again soon. xxx
P.S. MERRY CHRISTMAS (how could I forget that?!) I hope that 2013 is kinder to you than 2012 has been, too. Please call me 'Pickle'
