Am quite pleased with myself as have done a few normalish things today.I slept in until about 10.30am today due to not getting to sleep until really late.It was the dog barking at the postman that woke me.
Got my documents and receipt for my car insurance so had to check them through and all is ok....
The best bit of post was a copy of the medical done on behalf of DH regarding his injuries in the september car crash and the amount they are applying to the insurers for...we'll be very happy if we get that...DH has signed the form to ask them to proceed..so will put that to the back of my mind and let the solicitors do their job and hopefully,we'll hear from them in a few weeks.
I then put some washing on and sorted the takings out to bank.
Then phoned the accountants to see if they've sorted the accounts out yet as obviously tax is due by end of January...these should be sorted by next week..also asked for the ref numbers to pay them on the internet.
Then I went to PO to pay in takings and post letter back to solicitors plus popped into Lidl to get some shopping.
I know it's not a lot compared to other peoples standards but is a lot for me and have been out 3 days in a row whereas, normally I stay in on the couch all day.
I have chemo on monday and it will be a long day and if I'd been a good girl would've been the last one in this run but unfortunately,I missed two and will find out on weds from oncologist if I'll need to do the other two or not then the following week on the friday I'll have my scan to see whether this treatment has worked...
DH is hoping that we can go on holiday somewhere when he gets his money and my treatment plan allows it.
If everything has gone ok on scan the onc was on about keeping me on Avastin this is the one I have fortnightly but will have to see what he says when all scans are in0 -

Hi Taxi
Hoping for some positive news for you.
I've not been around for a while but I have thought of you often - sounds as if you have had a really tough time - you are human and it is allowed. I think you have done so well over the past couple of years and am impressed you haven't had meltdowns sooner - take all the help and medicines you can to get through these times and once you're feeling better you can review things and reduce what you no longer need. Gentle germ free hugs xxJanuary spends - £587.580 -
I will be praying for a positive outcome for you taxi.

Hi Taxi
Glad to see you had a more 'normal' day and some good news. You've done so well.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and wish you the best for Monday.

Great news about your hubby's insurance claim:beer:, just sorry he had to go through the hurt and upset of the accident in the first place.
Also, really happy that you are getting back into the swing of 'normal' life too,Taxi. You say it isn't much compared to some other people but you are in the throes of treatment for a life-changing illness and in my book what you have achieved this past few days is nothing short of brilliant.
It was lovely to hear you and hubby are beginning to think about holidays again. I recall your holidays in the early days of your threads (Cancun and Cuba seem to be lodged in my memory) which sounded brilliant, what you wrote about the places you went to made me determined to get out of debt enough to venture as far as that one day. I might be too old to enjoy it when I can finally afford to go though!
Fingers crossed that all goes well for your next rounds of hospital visits and that it will all be well and truly behind you before the year is much older.0 -
I think you do brilliantly, considering, Taxi: stop being so hard on yourself!
I'm glad the insurance claim is being sorted and best of luck for the results. xxxPlease call me 'Pickle'
