Evening, getting back on the MSE wagon. April has been a fairly spendy month but money will be making its way back :)

Loads of decisions made re future and lots of stuff happening in UK home in preparation. We had considered delaying work until closer the time but we want to stick to our two year deadline - earlier would be perfect but Mr T doesn't want to stop working until 50. He may take on some short term contracting stuff but that's for a discussion further down the line.

I'm selling a whole host of stuff. More will be put up for sale towards the end of next week. Some have been harsh decisions, others very easy.

MusicM box sent off last week - all helps.
Once I've sold some of the furniture in the garage, we will empty the loft into the garage and work our through that. We did it a few years ago but having read MK, thanks to Apple Muncher, both Mr T and I are reformed characters.

DS will be leaving home towards the latter part of this year. A big chapter in his life is about to start and we are incredibly proud of him. DD is working hard and exams start next week. Her Uni year whizzes by.

I'm sitting watching the birds fly back and forth over the pool at the moment - yep, I'm not in the UK - they are such a joy to watch.

I'm here as we are having more work done and I'm 'supervising' - tough job I know :rotfl:

    I feel truly blessed :A

Hign10pines - we all need to follow our own journey and home ownership isn't for all :). I thought we would buy a few B2Ls instead of keeping family home as it spreads to risk. We have chosen to just keep the one and aim for corporate lets only. Time will tell whether we have made the right choice

Well done for reading all my diary. I know I've waffled on over the years but hope some of it was entertaining.

Right, I think it's glass of wine time.

  • Evening, what a glorious day. Washing up to date, all dried on the line and ironing done. Tons of running around finished and house looks like a tip but hopefully order will be restored this coming week.

Greent, the joys of being able to supervise :T:T can't beat them :rotfl:

All is going well in the Tilly household. What with exams, hounds, cats, builders, furniture it's like living our lives through a sit com.

Weeding is on the cards for this weekend, plus menu plan for May.

Happy days. Thanks for stopping by :)
