  • Ah you noticed. Just checking to see if anyone was paying attention!
  • I missed something :rotfl: Sorry SHS, I'm only just catching up.

DD has made three jars of red pepper, red tomato and red chilli jam :T

Hungarian goulash cooked in SC and ready for in the week. Tortilla baked in the oven ready for lunch with DD tomorrow. LO veggies from dinner tonight used in the tortilla.

Mixed bean dish made for dinner tomorrow - MB recipe not used and I've turned it into a Moroccan style bean dish with Ras Al Hanout.

Washing, ironing done. Mr T has cleaned all the cars. Lawns are cut.
Garage sorted and cleaned. DS and Mr T did 30 mins of weights.

Lodgers room and bathroom cleaned. Really going to miss him when he goes.

    Good, productive day.

Love how "homely" your diary feels now you are not 'overworking' :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Morning, sad day yesterday in one way, I took DD back to Uni. however, we've had a great few weeks with a more memories firmly planted.

Laughter is a big part of our family time and I'm grateful the kids are good friends, not just siblings.

Right, money news. I've been paid (Mr T next wk) and I've shifted all bar £250 to Future savings. This was such a massive step forward. Aim is to save enough by the end of May 2016 to fund the rebuild completely.

Right, cup of tea is calling and hound walk straight after.

    Enjoy the sun.

Hi Tilly, I love hearing about your family, you all sound like such good friends!

Thanks again for the menu plans, I intend to spend some time planning. I need to learn to be organised!

    Good luck.
    Jeremy Corbyn for Prime Minister!
Then we can stop wasting money on warfare, improve the NHS, build more houses for the poor, and improve community services.
  • Morning, I've dropped Mr T at the station at 7, made lunch for DS, emptied and loaded DW, washing switched to TD (yes I know but it's too wet for outside :o).

I'm waiting for a cheque to clear - seems to take ages - then will move to Future pot.

I'm taking mum on hols next week and looking forward to some sun before the winter starts. Heating will definitely be going on next week, if only to take the chill off in the mornings.

DD is safely ensconced at Uni and I will give her room a good clean. It's sad to see her go but I love hearing about the stuff she is learning. How the little bundle I held, can remember all this stuff tickles me.

I'm waiting for my referral and may have to remind them to use my health insurance. If I'm having surgery, I want it this year so that I'm fit for Spring. I don't want to miss out on gardening :)

Garlic and broad beans can go in during the next two weeks :T

I'll be meeting the architect when I'm away and am looking forward to knowing when the survey will be done.

Right, I think it's cuppa time.

    Best wishes Tilly x x
