Hello Tilly :hello::hello::hello:
I’m not sure it counts as delurking as I’ve not lurked along your amazing journey, rather over the last couple of months since I stumbled across your thread (and this board) been gripped by all 472 pages of it.
You must be getting tired of hearing this now but – WOW, what an inspiration. Congratulations on the end recently, but also and almost more on the journey / story. A looooong time ago (in pages, not in my reading time ☺ ) there were some reminiscences about childhood reading, which made me smile as another Chalet girl fan. The Tilly Chronicles have been so fab to read, too many favourites to mention but just a few….
• Tilly’s New Friends have Midnight Feast Fun while she’s in Portugal
• Tilly Re-defines the English language – a ‘lie in’ is 6am:A
• Mr T Triumphs over Redundancy
• Tilly Re-Defines again – ‘rebelling’ is not meal planning for a while
• Miss T Steps Up and Into the Meal Plan Breach
• Master T Steps Up – there was a fab episode of him mowing the lawn and then laying out a sunbed for you
• Tilly’s Employers Finally Learn to Do Without Her
I’ve smiled, laughed, felt for you, related to bits, learned a lot (not just that conference calls do have a purpose, namely ironing) and hugely enjoyed - and been inspired.
I was determined not to skip to the end, so didn’t realise until this morning when I finished that you had DONE IT :T:T:T Please please please as others have said don’t leave … I am looking forward to following along in real time, whatever the next adventures are. A while ago you first mentioned doing lessons about how to run a home and I was mega excited until I realised it wasn’t for the forum, and for more deserving causes than me and your other avid readers on here. (But if you are giving out meal plans, pretty please may I have a singly one …)
So congratulations, thank you, and I can’t wait for the next bits … You are Amazing:j

Hollyboll, thanks for your beautiful post. Brought a tear to my eye
I'll respond to PM once Mr Surface is set up. I've had some problems with my old laptop and will send menu plans out from my new toy this week.
Thank you for taking the time to post, I really appreciated it.

Aw, thank you both … it is very exciting to 'talk' to you after reading all the chronicles
… actually feels quite emotional too …
But can't have any tears, quick humour needed. SO - like GG I thought of you when reading the KM comment about toilet rolls … it was actually the KonMarie thread I first read on this forum (feeling very stupid as had thought I was an avid MSE fan for years previously, but moving on …) … I've not kept up with it of late, overtaken by this amazing MFW board, but I did spot this and thought of you - hope it gives you a smile too

I really hope it will let me post but in case not as I'm a newbie, it's on the KonMarie thread in Old Style by Clutterfree on 15th August - on my screen it's about p.317, spookily a couple below a post by GG!
xx
ps - Tilly I did PM you (NOT about menu plans but with some info I thought might help) - or thought I did but I can't see anything in my sent PM box. If you don't get it will you let me know and I'll try again ….Fleabay + Weebuy + Gumfree since started diary 94 items sold, £649.71 clear profit1 -
WOW, I love Clutterfree's freezer :T:T:T.
I talk to loads of people now about what they have in their freezer and how they use it. It's surprised me that so many people buy, freeze, forget, chuck - that's £1s just thrown in the bin.
I have yr PM thanks. Will respond once Mr Surface is set up.
