You have a Surface! I had a play with one in Norfolk this year, my rellie just bought one, they're gorgeous!
As my life is changing at the moment, I also wanted something that I could use for excel and word easily, plus the benefit of having Adobe Flash.
It will be my only splurge though. I was asked yesterday what problems I had in my life - I truly felt blessed when I said none. Physical challenges, if I need more surgery, are just one offs and I don't look on that as a problem. I've bought loo rolls so that problem has gone :rotfl: Whilst life has niggles occasionally, I really do feel in a good place. Apologies for the emotional waffle

Absolutely lovely. I feel the same. I do have worries about family members, but these are about things which are beyond my control, so not actually my problems although I am concerned. The security that comes with paying off the mortgage obviates worries about work, retirement, future plans and some health issues too. So good all round.
Good luck with building the future pot. I am sure yours will grow faster than ours given our reduced working hours, but it is great to see something grow after years watching the mortgage decreasing!
All the best,

Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -

I cannot believe how often toilet roll is discussed on MFW, we have definitely nailed rock and roll lifestyles :rotfl:0
