Caving was loads of fun and fortunately, Mr T didn't tell me this, it was by boat
. Incredible views and we have seen some spectacular areas.
Jacaranda tree is going in next month and two avocados next week. By the time we live here they will be producing well.
We are having some work done to the wall by the gates to the drive. Should be done before early October and we pay when it is completed to our satisfaction. Money ready for it.
I've claimed another £20 ish pounds from TCB in two lots. Will move to Future pot when it arrives.
I'm going to sit outside now and watch the swallows - there are four that are playing around the house. We have a covered terrace area with pillars and they are whizzing in and out

Tills - I am incredibly late to the party, but I did want to extend huge congrats to MasterT. I hope his success has given him options and choices
Caving by boat sounds alright - I was imagining *potholing* - which is actually one of my recurring nightmares - and I've never even been potholing! :rotfl:
Swallow watching sounds idyllic

Hi Tilly,
Your recent post was very inspirational and in no way preachy.
I'm glad you enjoyed the caving. Mr Thistle is really into his potholing and living so close to the Yorkshire Dales, we often go for drives around this area and stick our heads into the odd cave. Last year, he encouraged me to by winched 300ft down Gaping Gill in a bosuns chair on a thin bit of cable. Totally terrifying but utterly exhilarating at the same time. The cave is big enough to contain York Minster apparently and the stream forms the tallest waterfall in England I think.
Well you've to do everything at least once haven't you!!

Crikey that's a whole lot of 7s :rotfl: If only we had just £7 still to pay. Yep we are on countdown - 28 August 2015. We are keeping £200 mortgage in case we decide to borrow back but not sure we will need it.
I'll apologise up front for my waffle. It's been an uppy downy journey with some good highs but also real lows. However having a diary has truly helped keep us on track and we would not be able to achieve MFW without it. Not there yet but it feels good.

Hi Greying, watching the swallows was really lovely. A family of four (nesting here and babies learning to fly) it was truly joyous to sit and watch them. As they improved the little ones started to swoop - couldn't have captured it on film but brilliant to watch.
DS is very happy and at the BBQ this evening, he had lts of people come up and congratulate him. On the way home he said how kind and thoughtful people were, as some of them he didn't know, but they had heard and wanted to congratulate him. All helps him learn how to be a capable adult and he, no doubt, will extend congratulations to others.
Caving by boat was awe inspiring on occasions. Mr T had been winding me up saying it was pot holing and I'm mightily relieved it wasn't. I don't think I could do that.
I also sat watching some ants this afternoon. OK they may not be everyone's cup of tea but they made me chuckle. They were travelling along the very edge of the terrace some left to right, others right to left. Most of them gave way and one would veer to the left or right to avoid the oncoming ant. However, some of them were not giving way and I watched a number of impasses. They stayed that way for over a minute neither moving, just touching heads. Made me laugh. Eventually one moved to the side and their journeys continued. Maybe I need to get out more? :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you're feeling better?

Ah Thank You Tilly - truth to say, I'm feeling much better than I did this time last week _pale_ Think I will probably keep my dr's appointment though, as whilst I generally enjoy good health (and long may it continue), it would be no exaggeration to say that the last two weeks have been the worst of my adult life - I have never felt so roughI'm still mystified that it *came from nowhere*, so just in case there is anything 'underlying', I think a chat with the doc is needed.
Norty MrTteasing you it was potholing :rotfl:
So actually, ant colonies are no different to human colonies - you get the compliant and the obstinate, and we all shuffle along..... :rotfl:
Was thinking of you last night when a mrL advert came on TV - they are having a Spanish/Iberian week. Suspect your trip on Monday will yield significantly better bargains and quality........But I'm going to indulge in some big red peppers today - and maybe some Manchego........
I hope you continue to have a fantastic/relaxing time.
