    As the planning gets underway for operation mega mortgage clearance, DH and I have decided to update figures quarterly, as otherwise we could be become a bit insane about tracking/updates etc. I have made a £1500 OP this morning but won't be showing that until beginning of June - I wonder if I can stick to this :o

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Very funny Tilly ;)
    A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • GG, you just have no faith in me :rotfl: I didn't say I wouldn't be tracking it via spreadsheet though :rotfl: I will just be doing that quietly in my mahoosive workbook.....

    Oooh standard deviation. I'm well impressed. I can remember what one is, but it's never occurred to me to use one for my personal finances.

    Go on, ATT, share with the class.... what have you got on your spreadsheets?

    PS Loving the prawn idea, Radish. :)

    Hi Tilly, just catching up on your diary. Great news about the new mortgage! I'm also very glad I didn't switch to Santander so thanks :o

    4) Close-up of part of graph 3 so I can see even little OPs making a difference

    Thanks Lois, great idea!! I have a graph like that which is so huge I can't see any difference when I overpay. Time to hit the spreadsheet :D
  • Hiya, having had a long day, then straight out with friends, I popped into the M&S 'shop' in the local garage. I would say 40% of the food was reduced. Will be popping in there late more often. The reason for mentioning this is they had prawn sandwiches reduced!! Radish, you are responsible for me paying 50p for a prawn and mayo sandwich and it's now all gone. Am sitting here with a contented grin plus two happy cats who had a prawn each as well. That must have been playing on my mind and I was subliminally directed towards them:):)

    Morning, MIA yesterday. The land of work has gone rather loopy the last few weeks. I am looking forward to finishing this evening, taking dog for a run and relaxing. Plans are to volunteer, take in a movie, do another dog run Saturday or Sunday then simply stay at home. Too many social events plus too much work over the last 2 weeks so we all need time out.

    Loving FD. Minimal spends this week, low spends over the weekend due to NatWest Film. I do need a trip to buy some sandwich loaves. Normally we make our bread but with the frenetic week, I realise that no further activities etc can be handled. It's like the experiment to see what you can get into a jar, stones, small stones, sand etc. My jar is well and truly full now, so the only thing to do is free some time and let the jar empty.

    This week will have been the lowest food spend on record for us - about £20. Bear in mind the freezer is full and next week will be the same. Only purchase required will be bread, fruit and a little veg. So about the same again.
    Edit: actually reckon it will be around £10 so that's £10 left for a treat for the kids this weekend

    Have a great day and almost the weekend.:T

    Best wishes Tilly x
