Figs are coming on a treat as are the blueberries. Raspberry bushes are being eaten to death

Sun is out, washing is going in to the machine and hounds will need to be walked later.

I think that would be her savings pots :rotfl:

She has sorted all her financials, checked her receipts, transferred money to ISA and savings account, plus agreed extra hours for work.

    Well done DD :T

I am hoping that everything we've picked up from you good people and :money: will pay dividends for her.

  • What a day.

Early start at gym, loads of work, finished mid afternoon and all the ironing is done :T

I'm starting the weekend with - no washing, no ironing, a shopping list, plus just about to go to the shops, free coffee and cake at JL tomorrow.

    How fab is that :T

    Happy days, Tilly x

Very impressed with your DD. What great lessons to have learnt so young. Awesome.

  • What a joy.

I'm on my own with a cup of tea, the hounds at my feet, listening to the rain - scratch that, it's just stopped :rotfl: One of the cats is sleep, hiding under a chair - one of the hounds quite likes her, so she protects herself.

I took DD to work at 5.15, had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at 7. Cleaned our bathroom, DDs bathroom and put all the ironing and airing cupboard contents away.

It's very rare I have time to myself without a list and it feels quite decadent.

DS and Mr T have gone out on a bike ride - yes, in the rain. As we are walking the hounds later, I didn't fancy getting wet twice, hence some quiet time.

Money matters - food money under control. Just over two weeks to payday.

Holidays all paid for - stoozing working well for Mr Ts expenses. Diary is up to date with reminders for when work expenses have to be moved to CC.

Hotel booking is working well and we have a free night banked, ready and waiting. The cashback is appearing on the transaction but no idea how reliable they are for paying - fingers crossed.

Over dinner last night DD and DS were laughing their heads off - made me stop and look at them as young adults - it's a hard job being a parent but how rewarding to see them mature and fly :T

Right, enough musing, I need to drink my tea and get on. I'm catching up on phone calls and arranging some get togethers.

    Best wishes, Tilly x x

  • Hello,

It is strange when they grow up and move on and leave home and you look forward to them visiting....

Sounds like a very good day,
