Evening, I must admit I'm finding it quite difficult not planning
Mr T keeps asking what's for dinner and I have no idea:rotfl:
This evening it's Mexican Chipotle chicken with rice - padded out with courgettes and peppers which need using up.
We are visiting family tomorrow and celebrating. Dinner tomorrow will be leftovers if anyone's still hungry.
All the washing is done and bar one load, the ironing is finished as well. The airing cupboard is heaving.
I've paid £70 into the bank in change  Will OP that.
No gardening done at all as it really has been too wet.
DD is halfway through emptying, sorting and cleaning her bedroom. How she fits so much stuff in, I don't know. She's also taking on extra hours at work.
All in all a busy and productive day and looking forward to tomorrow.
Best wishes Tilly x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

No menu planning??? I thought I had stumbled onto another thread. Tilly you are the queen of menu planning and now you have abdicated........ how will us readers copeMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Hi Tilly!
Yes I too am completely thrown if I don't have a plan ... Even if it's a basic of knowing it'll be a pasta dinner, a roast veg dish or a soup day, I've gotta know what's coming or I can't shop effectively (or frugally). I don't always plan too far ahead though as sometimes it's nice to just see what there's a lot of up the garden and make that the basic ingredient and plan from there ... although it sounds like your slugs and snails might have beaten you to that bit of meal planning!
Congrats on your remaining work days total ... I wouldn't have been able to resist working it out either!
Have a great day tomorrow! xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Morning Watty, I've looked on the wall in the kitchen, where the menu plan normally is, a few times  It's quite interesting as I don't see how the food bill can be controlled without a plan - time will tell :rotfl:
I may need locking up by the end of the month :rotfl:

What prompted the unplanning/deplanning/antiplanning?0

Morning, last manic day started. Mr T and I are off to the gym shortly for a torture session - I love it although I couldn't go from that directly into a class, so I guess my fitness needs more work.
Hounds will be walked this evening and Mr T and I can collect our thoughts for the week ahead. He's whizzing north and south on Tuesday and I think could benefit from Dr Who's Tardis.
I'd better get cracking.

I'm not sure but normally the last week of the month finds me doing a freezer and larder inventory and then taking time out to choose cookery books and plan. This month I just didn't have the desire to do any of it. Whether that's down to exam stress, birthday celebrations, frustration with career change which is taking so long. However, I decided there was no point forcing myself to do so something, which I normally enjoy. It may put me off
I'm winging the meals each day at the moment. I have salmon to use up tonight - risotto maybe?
