Spinning - omg! What is happening to MFW - all this gym stuff eeek!!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Come over to my thread Watty - nothing more than a gentle swim :T

  • Morning, up and ready to go to PT session :T

Payday and I've shuffled a few bits around including a 40p TT to MOS

L!dl shopping trip for fruit and a little fresh veg on the cards for today. £10 in purse and no card.

It was a grey old day yesterday. I popped some washing on the line and it was soaked. Hoping this doesn't happen today.

    I'd better get cracking.

  • Morning, strange start to the day. I took DD to work around 5am, came back home, fell fast asleep and only woke up at 8 am  I feel like half the day's gone :rotfl:

Just going to have a cuppa and then walk the dogs.

L!dl shopping came to £14  Fortunately DD came with me so I could borrow £4 - not too bad though :T

    PC survey completed last night
    2YG surveys
CP comes survey to complete this morning
    S&S to scan and upload
CP to update for a DD skirt

Dinner last night was delicious - a platter of roasted vegetables, topped with diced and cooked chorizo (only a little for flavour), toasted pine nuts, HM garlic croutons. Served with cous cous with cumin and chilli. So easy and delicious.

We sat outside for quite a while catching up on the week and it was delightful.

    I'd better drink my tea.

    Have a good day, Tilly x x

Ooh, that sounds nice! Except the chorizo of course :o What veg do you use for roasted veg Tilly? I think we're stuck in a roasted veg rut :rotfl:

Morning Janey, I used 1 aubergines, 2 yellow courgettes (HG), 2 large red vine toms, white and red onion, garlic (HG), pine nuts. Then drizzled HM pesto on the top to finish.
ETA, I forgot the peppers - 1 red, yellow and orange

Served warm rather than straight out of the oven.

Not necessarily exciting veg but really beautiful flavour.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Sounds delicious even at this time of the morning! OH is going to put in some raised beds when we get to that end of the garden and I'm quite excited about growing some veg! Do you have a greenhouse or can you manage without?

I LOVE Zumba - really makes me smile, even though I'm out of breath :)

I've got large plastic (rectangular) cloches that I use to warm the raised beds up before planting. I normally use black net covers but didn't this year and regret it. Having two dogs can be a b£gger at times :rotfl:

I've got four raised beds for veg, then a separate one for strawberries.

Normally very productive but I think the mild winter has meant there's more slugs and snails about.

You'll love it though and it's really rewarding.

    Best wishes, Tilly x

Thanks Tilly, we were planning where they can go today! OH is going to build them up out of bricks. Will definitely need netting though! Any soil in our garden is treated as a public loo by the neighborhood cats! I won't tell you what my dog does ...
