  • Evening, quick trip to M@rrisons - bread for BBQ, plus sausages and tomatoes. Everything else is from the garden. £16 spent though as DD decided she needed to stock up on deodorant

Looks like DS is going away for the weekend at short notice - DD is at work tomorrow so Mr T and I can have time in the garden.

Plan for tomorrow is L!dl - £30 cash in my purse; car service; market for veg plants (£5 in an envelope for this) then garden all day - bliss.

I do have a mountain of ironing to do but that will have to wait until Sunday after church. PT session early Sunday with just enough time to shower and get to church.

I'd better light the BBQ as Mr T is working a little later.

Mr T has decided on Father's Day gift - he originally had a 'techie want' on his list but has decided on an actual need. 1 3TB external hard drive coming up - thank goodness for Internet and price searching tools :T

  • Enjoy the BBQ. There is no better night for it.

  • Evening, I'd better 'fess up - new iron purchased :o

Mr Ts 3 TB hard drive ordered.

Post office final acceptance times noted as this is required for RM surveys shortly. Next lot of stamps arrived and put away. Another week of posting semi prepared.

Checked TCB and Mr Ts hotel and rail travel is a big help. I've messed around deciding what to do with this extra cash - final decision - anything which is paid out will be OPd.

Cheques for flight delay banked and money OPd.

Have to buy gift for DD then all major spending until Xmas is done :T

Off to prepare toppings as Mr T is making HM pizza

  • Morning, up and ready for gym. An hour of PT and actually looking forward to it :o

Household insurance for mum to sort today. Will go via £co or TCB.

Receipts to update on spending diary from yesterday.

A wee mountain of ironing

I was going to do a Moroccan chicken dish for dinner - Mr T would spatchcock the chicken for this. The weather is so dreary though, I may just chuck it in the oven and roast with some spices.

I'd better get my trainers on get cracking.

I am setting myself a challenge for only buying fruit this coming weekend - £10 budget and money in purse ready.

Best wishes and I hope the sun shines with you.

  • Morning Tilly, don't think an iron counts as a frivolous spend:D, have to confess I was about to buy a new one but then found the instructions for mine and realised in over 8 years I'd never rinsed out the boiler chamber:o

    Have a great day xx

    New iron brilliant :T

Had free tickets for Chef :rotfl:

I'm off to try a spinning class HDK - only slightly scared. I'm going to be the one collapsed on the floor :o. Hopefully will build up to it.

Dinner ended up being Chinese takeaway - completely off the rails this month. Once big family birthdays out of the way, the rest of the year will be like living through a fiscal fast :)

    Off for an early night.
