Raced round usual morning dog walk in 32 minutes :T.
Not sure whether people have tried the updated FD app. I hadn't until last night and it looks good to me. I like the instant view of balances as you open up

Hi Tilly
Wow, you've had a busy time since your return, lots going on!
Very impressed that you're now on a no major spend run until Christmas ... I'm trying to get that covered with a sealed pot and Love2Shop vouchers from RM surveys. All my sons' birthdays are summer and my sis will be 50 so can't quite be as frugal as I'd like, although will definitely be savvy shopping!
Re your mum's house insurance, I did mine (buildings and contents) at the weekend and got £60 cash back via £co.
Hope the spinning class went well and no embarrassing outcomes!
Ta too for your kind words about my thread, much appreciated!
OK must get work started ... have a good one xStash busting 2014 45 / 60 (balls of yarn)!

Morning Habibiboo, thanks for dropping by. I didn't get round to mum's insurance - it has to be done today.
Spinning is tomorrow night - I didn't word my post very well. Not sure I'm looking forward to it but I know my diet is in good shape now (with the exception of last night's takeaway). Now I'm looking for ways to burn fat and spinning seems to be pretty good for this. I'm loving the weight training and really glad I'm back into it. I recognise it will take me a while to become as strong as I was but I'm on the road :T

Hi Tilly, just popped in to say spinning is brilliant! The first class is a bit tricky to get used to balancing etc but you'll soon get better. I've honestly never worked so hard in any other exercise class and it's very effective at toning and strengthening below the waist areas! We're looking for a class near here to do before our holiday

Morning, pay day on Friday and looking forward to shuffling.
Dinner this evening is a change from menu plan - baked risotto with stuffed peppers ala Saving with JO. We need to eat early due to gym.
Tomorrow night will be a chicken pasta bake to use up the leftover roast chicken.
I'm feeling quite challenged by life at the moment and need to stay focused on the end game. From discussions with Mr T I think it's likely that I'll work until 55 then retire (hopefully permanently). That gives me a few years to continue to build a fund to renovate.
I'm sure many of us on both MFW and DFW forums feel we are so close at times and I am conscious of wishing my life away at the moment. Not a sensible thing to do
Enough waffle, I need to grab breakfast then get showered and out of the house.
@Brizzle, not sure I feel particularly optimistic at the moment. Life seems to move at such a pace it's hard to keep up
@Janey, thanks for the comments re spinning. I'm feeling pretty apprehensive but am determined to do what I can then see how I progress.
Best wishes, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

That's so true. I said on my thread that I was tempted to count up the working days until I retire, but decided not to, as it would be wishing my life away
I really do want to live in the moment, but for at the least the last 12 - 18 months I've been focusing on a life beyond work. I really must get out of that habit!Early retired - 18th December 2014
