  • Hi Thistle, I'll be in touch :)

    How's the pain now?

    Tilly x

Getting better. Moving away from a dull aching throb towards a few stabs of pain every now and again - usually when I try to push myself too far. It's a fine line between activity that the physio says is helpful, and going too far.

  • Crikey, you lot have been busy rabbiting today :)

Hope everyone's has a good day.

    NSD achieved.

Work has been mental - I only have one pair of hands, two ears and one mouth. No jokes you lot .....

Roast turkey was eaten as a roast dinner, not a pie and was just what we needed.

Mr T has been a busy bee all day - something to do with paintbrushes.

I'm off for an early night.

  • Morning, middle of the week already, the week certainly whizzes by.

Spending diary is up to date but we have slipped from doing it daily - only to every other day but still, we need to return to daily updates. Mr T reminded me this morning as I'm the one slipping :o

99p Tilly Tidy to MOS. Payday on Friday and there's money still in the bank and I moved Mr Ts penultimate DWP payment to MOS.

R@yal Mail training completed and moving into next phase. Hopefully this will enable me to stock pile stamps.

S&S have offered us another project and we've been accepted for it. This is the equivalent of another £10 every month (added to another one we do also). S&S and CP are definitely well worth doing.

Bargainous steak burgers, salad and potato wedges for dinner. Operation freezer use up is going well. By Friday I'll have a drawer free, allowing me to do another inventory and sort out/re-org. Operation bottle/jar use up from the fridge is taking forever though. Still loads to use up.

Greying recommended a cookery book, Jenny Chandler - Pulse - she also has a beautiful blog with good eye to detail. Thanks GP :)

We are at the point of car servicing to start and in a few months, insurances are due, MOT etc. It's at the back of my mind now, ready for opportunities to reduce cost, gain cash back etc.

Have a good day, soon be Friday :T

I've just been told they're over subscribed here and I'm being put on hold for a while, though I've been doing it for a few weeks :(. Hope you have better luck, I was planning on selling them on ebay :rotfl:.

I'm just coming to the end of my 6-month stint :T

I don't work in the same postal area as I live so it has been a bit inconvenient - not sure I'll bother again especially now they are introducing boxes...
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021

I think their admin processes are pretty poor, we were trained, rested whilst training, then back on all within a two week period.

That sounds more difficult as the need to post within certain windows etc would be tricky. As I'm often WFH it's fairly straight forward and I can walk to the local post office with a hound :)

I agree. I posted form outside a PO as instructed and the box wasn't on their system :rotfl:. Took them ages to add.

Which ones are those? I have survey sites Valued 0pinion$, 1P0LL and Ip$0$ but I don't which ones are best...

    Thanks,
    Cal x
  • Hi Cal, Shop and Scan and Consumer Pulse.

I think both are free to join. Pine Cone is another excellent one as they pay £3 per survey and have product trials occasionally too.

PC - you need to register interest - hopefully someone will be along to say where - or wait for PC to send invites to existing people, who can then forward.

    Best wishes Tilly x
