Hi good to see you are improving Tilly.. take it easy when you can though..

Morning, busy day out yesterday and glad to get home and into bed
Payday has arrived, the remaining shuffles which I still do are complete. 93p TT to MOS, along with 63p from another account. All helps.
I have three bills to pay today, one will be from cash, the other two will go on to a CC, to earn cash back then paid off in full via DD.
We are definitely managing well financially and the fact we are saving whatever extra money comes in, is unbelievable. This would not have happened even four years ago.
Jobs for this morning - day off - freezer inventory, menu plan for March, walk the hounds.
I've been reading about the RM surveys and boxes which sometimes have to be posted. Sounds like a lot of frustration as you part with hard cash, then are reimbursed with L2S vouchers, with a bit extra on top. Although frustrating to use your own money, it would allow me to save up L2S vouchers, as I'm sure they can be used in N£xt. This way I'm building a small pot towards DS Xmas gift.
I feel I need a mortgage goal - next one is to break through £170k
Fairly blue sky here and looking forward to a walk.

Morning Brizzle, I am definitely improving but boy, I wouldn't like to be like this normally. I feel like I've turned into a right lazy monkey.

Crikey Tilly, I know what you mean. I've been "forced" to do "light duties" this week, after my op and it's been horrendous. I'm just not programmed to do nothing. I've been like a cat on a hot tin roof!:D
I feel so guilty for not doing any work, and it's totally daft because I'm self employed so if I want to do nothing, there's only me to tell me off!!
Funny how we're programmed isn't it:rotfl:
Anyway, we're off to Cornwall at 2pm (let's choose to leave so we hit Birmingham at Friday rush hour!!) so next week really will be a lazy week (although I'll still be finding time to post on here)
Have a great day!:cool:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Reminds me of Mrs E after a small op - I had to literally hold her on the couch (in a loving manner!) until her codeine-based painkillers did the rest of the relaxing for her0 -
@Thistle, Birmingham rush hour sounds like something to avoid
I feel mildly envious of your holiday. I haven't been to Cornwall for about 20 years and would love to go back. Maybe that could be a little reward when Mr T starts working again
@Lois, truly, if we hadn't changed our ways we would be scrudled (slightly made up word).
@Mr E, I think GG did that to me verbally :rotfl: Mr T ended up telling me off and sending me to bed - however, now, when I could/should be up and about, I'm dragging my heels.
OK, I need to get cracking. Freezer here I come.

Why do you need to spend hard-earned cash to post the boxes for the RM survey, do they not come pre-stamped anymoreMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Oops.. I though your meant op as in OP (Overpayment) and I was really confused :rotfl:0 -

Hi Radish, we haven't had to do this yet, but they're discussing it on the RM survey thread on MSE. I must admit, I don't think you should have to pay with your own cash, but if we do have boxes to post, I will be saving the vouchers for DS.
I don't want to stop as I like receiving the stamps :rotfl:
