  • You've all brought a tear to my eye :o

I'm doing all the right stuff now and taking it easy. It did need a stiff talking to by GG on Monday to make me realise, but I'm following the Drs orders to the letter :)

Pouring with rain here - cant wait for the smell of Spring to be in the air.

We've had heavy rain on and off all day. The wind has taken down the fence panel between us and next door, and there's a house round the corner whose TV aerial pole is now leaning over by about 30 degrees.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

  • It's certainly rough out there and the hounds are going without their walk

Mr T made stuffed peppers with cous cous, onion, garlic, chilli, smoked bacon and stock. Very nice indeed :)

We may just be having profiteroles for dessert - let's not mention dieting this evening.

Have a good night, Tilly x

Tilly, I can't say any more than has already been said ... you're an inspiration to those like me who are just trying to get to grips with the MF journey, as you battle on regardless. I truly hope things are less grotty soon and that you and Mr. T get the literal, emotional and financial sunshine you deserve.

((hugs)) ... sorry I just can't bring myself to use that rather dodgy-looking huggy emoticon!

  • Please do take time to recover fully, Tilly. More is not necessarily better after an op. And don't go outside! If you do 't get swept away, you'll get blown away! Snuggle up and relax.
