TattyCath, L!dl have some good priced seeds in at the moment. I'm starting to chit - I only grow them in bags. However if you have clay soil, they are great for breaking up and improving the soil.

    Thanks for this Tilly. :)
I need to check my stash of seeds from previous years-Mr tc unearthed some in the shed. So I'll see what I have first.
Money's a bit tight in the tc household just now-tax man

  • Morning,

£94.71 received from SP, it took around 6 weeks  Now moved to MOS. :T

71p Tilly Tidy to MOS :T

We are definitely challenging ourselves on the spending front. Shopping this Saturday isn't happening. Yes, I'm on a fiscal fast. (Should read We ) It's half term and DD is away and I have loads of stuff for DS to munch through. I think he's got a project to work on, which will keep him busy. I'm pretty certain this can be achieved - £80 will move to MOS on Saturday if I don't go to the shops :T

Food shopping is definitely a habit. I have a freezer full, a well stocked garage larder and cupboards in the kitchen, along with two fridges. Nothing else is coming in.

Mr T is being contacted most days about opportunities at the moment, so hopefully he can be sorted in the next month or so. Maybe famous last words but I'm ever hopeful. It's great to hear him talking about work more, he's a clever chap and needs to exercise his brain.

Mum is staying at home until we are all in better health. It would not be good news if she came down with one of the bugs rolling around our house at the moment. We're missing her and she misses the noise and bustle of family life.

I do my utmost not to moan on my diary but I had a pretty carp day yesterday and I am extremely grateful to GallyGirl for helping me out in the morning and Elantan last night. Both with advice and constructive help which was just what I needed. Thank you ladies :)

    Have a good day, Tilly

Hi Muser, I must admit, I can't wait to be able to post that he has a job.

He's been very close three times now and hoping that the next is the big one :T

Hope all is going well with you.

Sorry to hear about the carp day. Don't feel you can't moan on here. Sometimes moaning to people who will understand is the best thing to help you pick yourself up and carry on. V glad Gally and Elantan were there for you yesterday. :)
