  • Hi Tilly I don't know if you already do this but I buy and freeze enough milk to last at least a week, that way I don't just pop to the shop and spend on things I don't need.
(Also I buy bread in this way. ):)

  • Morning MCI, I really don't want to live my life with regrets and be thinking 'if only'. Better to try this and see how it goes. She has an independent spirit and I have childhood and adult memories of laughing so much with mum - no idea what made us laugh but it's infectious.

I spoke to her this morning and she's looking forward to it.

    Nearly the weekend :T

  • Hi AlwaysTryYourBest, I completely agree, it's really handy to have milk and bread in the freezer. It's those quick trips to the shops which are a killer.

  • Morning, we were out yesterday afternoon and evening, so the chilli will be eaten this evening. I have taken a mystery container out of the freezer ready for dinner tomorrow. No clue what's in it, but I have had a few lodgers over the last couple of years, so who knows.

@Brizzle, Froggy is brilliant with a knife, I'd love to be able to chop like a professional.

I haven't checked the bank but we will do the statements etc tonight and get them out of the way before the weekend.

Minimum spends this week - just fruit, fresh veg, milk and butter on the list.

    Have a good Thursday.

  • Busy day and massively busy week coming up next week. I think I need one of those lists that I don't want to write, as it will all look unachievable.

    Anyway, it's Friday tomorrow :):)

Lovely chilli for dinner tonight, mystery dinner tomorrow and DD and I are out on the town for a while.

3p TT to MOS. Mr T has signed on today so that was fairly joyous.

  • :o Natty you've made me :o. Plus I'm really not at all. Last night I was trying to finish something off with DD and my Christian spirit had all but left me. I felt really disappointed and cross with myself.

However, I could do with a boost this morning and your post was lovely x x x x x

    Have a Good Friday :T

  • Morning, really going for the TTs at the moment - 3p TT to MOS :)

DH and I decided not to walk the dogs early this morning. I'm coming home from work early and walking them after my last call.

Mystery dinner with roasted vegetables for dinner - who knows what this will be like

I haven't written my Christmas cards yet, I normally do them the last weekend in November but I've had too much on my mind and forgot. I am taking a couple of hours in Saturday morning, will put on Christmas music and sit and write them. They can be posted the same day.

    Small Saturday list:
    L!dl Shopping
    DD to work
    Market
JL - baby arrival and gift required, wrap and post
    Two new baby cards
Order two things for delivery abroad - amaz@n
    Christmas cards
Financials - didn't get to them last night - won't have time tonight and I don't want this to drag on to Sunday
Walk the hounds before collecting DD
    Airing cupboard - empty
    Ironing

I'm not writing down anything else - once this is complete I'm finished. Will be travelling a lot next week and unable to post much. Will catch up when I'm home :)

    Hope you survive the week

I also need to sit down and do cards. At least I have managed to do the parcels for overseas family and friends. Not sure I am in time but it's the earliest I have managed for a few years :rotfl:
