Morning, the oxtail casserole last night was mmmmmmmm. It works out fairly expensive but definitely worth it. DS made a cake as well.
Dinner this evening is likely to be a change from menu plan - I quite fancy a Chinese chicken dish with noodles, fresh ginger, garlic etc. I have some HM chicken stock in the fridge which would make a broth type sauce as well.
No pennies anywhereto TT.
The clothes I sorted out to eb@y from DS reduced - DD came along and took a fancy to them, so she's whipped them off the pile. Will need to check whether it makes sense to sell the rest.
That's all for now.
Tilly x

Just wanted to pop by and say Hi Tilly.
Been lurking for longer than I care to admit and yours was one of the first MFW diaries I read.
It has been a great help and whilst I don't have your OP level that you started off with (£211 monthly for me), I like your attitude to MSE.:money:
Started up my own thread so hopefully I can keep track and keep myself motivated as my MFW date is over 20 years away.
Congrats on where you have got to so far!M3 Dec2015 #160 Target £150,000 (BU £155000)0 -
Hi BlueMoo, thanks for stopping by. My OPs have certainly stopped for a hole! while but hopefully will start up once Mr T is gainfully employed
Good luck with your plans, having a diary is a real help to keeping the focus.

Evening, what fun we're having in the Tilly household. After sticking it out until almost November, and after Mr T checked the heating over about a month ago, it stopped working today
He is now working to fix it so keep fingers crossed please, otherwise we will all be needing hot water bottles and onesies :rotfl:
I've had a trip to Mr A to look for shoes/boots for DS. His clothes arrived from GAP today and shoes would complete the wardrobe. Managed to find a good looking pair for £30 now need to get him to try them on. Once more fingers crossed.
Whilst wandering aimlessly around the aisles (my input to end of financial year finished today, so I'm demob happy) I came across the reduced food section, with no hoards of people  Four bags of bargainous fish jumped into the trolley :T including monkfish
Lemon grass for 10p and two red peppers for 26p :T. Couldn't resist.
Then four tins of tomatoes and four tins of chickpeas for £2 - happy with that too.
Finally jarmie bottoms for me - I thought they were £10 but when I came to pay they came up as £6
All in all, a good night of bargainous shopping - could I have managed without, yes, but I've had a quiet meander and the larder is topped up a little.
This will mean I have pennies to TT in the morning no doubt.

Hope it's fixed now .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
