  • Evening GG, sewing bee hour sounds like a plan :)

Not having the best of evenings, DD went out today and Mr T got sidetracked with other stuff, so I've had to go to Mr A on the way home and pick up pizza and salad. Truly all I want to do is stop as my day has been ridiculous.

Looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow :):)

  • Sewing has never been my strong point (tend to sew things to myself lol).

I can do basic repairs, but DH is much better than I am...at least one of us can sew!

Afternoon, all sewing done, Mr A returns complete, Mr T is doing GAP return, one of DS Xmas gifts ordered, two school shirts ordered via £co and tracked, including discount code provided by store as apology, as all shirt packs were missing one of two shirts

Trainers found on line - need DS to check them first then will order via TCB for collect in store. Brantano has 25% off today, so must do when they get home.

Mr T is making fish cakes with spicy salsa, new potatoes and salad for dinner.

Washing up to date, bargainous sausages for event purchased and frozen :).

Day didn't start well but has definitely improved :T

ETA, trainers ordered 25% discount and 40p cashback. All in all, productive day :)

Clothes for family member being delivered later :)

  • Morning TooToo, I really loved having a day to catch up on chores. I had something to do for a relative and haven't had time during my working week - made a phone call and a cheque for almost £20 will be on it's way. That will be such a lovely surprise :):):)

Have a good day, Tilly x

  • Morning,

lodger money moved to MOS :)
    44p TT to MOS
    1p TT to MOS :o

I went shopping last night and the bill was £18.70 - I have some missing fresh ingredients to pick up today and then done for the week. I love my freezer :)

I have some fruit to use up - bananas and apples - likely to be banana and date cake for church, and apple cake with crunchy topping - I can't recall what the latter cake is called but do know where the recipe is.

Off to take DS to have a day Poppy selling, dropping DD at work, catching up with a girlfriend by phone then cooking for an event tomorrow :)

    Best wishes Tilly x

Breakfast in bed sounds lovely :).

The last time I had breakfast in bed (for my Birthday) the children came running in so quickly with the toast - that they ended up throwing it at me as they tripped :rotfl:.

    Have a good day x

Have you joined the church of latter day cakes? :)

Happy Saturday Tilly, the breakfast in bed sounds delicious.

How cool would that be :rotfl::rotfl:

Mr E, I have a confession, I popped into Mr W and beef cheeks were reduced - I may have bought 2kg :T They are all prepared and marinating with red wine, garlic and onions, ready for SC tomorrow morning.
