Hi Tilly, just been catching up. Glad you had a relaxing holiday and I wish Mr T well with the job search. My house insurance is up for renewal this month aswell and a couple of years ago I found a fab deal with cashback and M&S vouchers which came in very handy for Christmas food shopping.
Mr T will be hunting down good deals :T

Oh Tilly, you just reminded me! It's our first year with BT, so do you know if they send you a letter to remind you or just try and switch you to monthly payments etc?

    Thanks, Cal x

Hi Calfuray - just renewed mine. They sent an email with a link to renew about a month in advance.

Hi Cal, I can't remember receiving a mail from them, but as it saves a fair chunk it's worth giving them a call. I'm ringing them this week to check as I thinks it's due October.

    Tilly x

Sorry to hijack your post - BT send me an email a few weeks before it's due for renewal.

  • Morning

    26p TT OP this morning
Had a great night out and HB goods went down well :)

Dinner this evening is chicken pie - hoping Mr T makes some pastry for the top.

We've had a bit of a lie in, which was not on the cards but this holiday lark has made us so relaxed, it's hard to ramp up again :o

Off to tidy the kitchen, quick shower and then into the office.

Have a good day, Tilly x

  • Good morning, glorious day and the sun is shining - kids have gone off to school now so normality will return to the household.

Dinner this evening is HM Chinese with noodles mmmmm

82p TT OP this morning :)

Busy day at work, in fact work is completely mental however, it is giving me a huge buzz :T

Tonight will see me tackling a pile of ironing which I can't ignore any more :o. It is almost at toppling height, so a little sorting, ironing and putting away is required.

Financials need some attention as we need to update the spending diary.

22p TCB on it's way - rock and roll :rotfl:

Mr T is like a man possessed on the job hunting front. He is happier than I've seen him for months and that's good to see. It goes to show how we put up with being unhappy, even not recognising it apart from in dreams.

Spending is completely battened down - it feels a little strange as I can't top up the saving pots however, refilling them will be my first priority when Mr T is sorted and then mortgage OP catch ups.

No time to wax lyrical as I have to jump into the shower, s have a fab day all and enjoy the sun. For those without any, I'll enjoy it on your behalf :)
