I agree with the meal planning, especially as we went shopping today and I had no menu or shopping list...far too stressful. Currently taking a leaf out of your book and have my recipe books in front of me trying to decide what we could have. I am trying to get Mr AJM interested and involved too to make it more fun for me and to make it feel slightly less like I do it all :rotfl:

Hi, what a lovely afternoon
Managed to sit outside apart from the last half an hour when the wind picked up.
I am still to completely finish September's meal plan - I ran out of steam come 3rd week. Am off to put the iPlayer on catchup on some TV with a couple of mags a friend dropped off - hopefully they will inspire me for the last week of the month.
Hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and for those heading back to school next week - have fun

Morning,
78p TT OP this morning
Off to walk the hounds in a few mins
Off out this evening to friends so taking a cake
I am missing my OPs and it feels like standing still, however capital is still being cleared each month
A little ironing is looking at me and a pile of washing. Hopefully Mr T and the kids will throw that into the machine today
I need to check but I'm sure it's getting close to the BT annual line rental payment. Where does the time go
House insurance due September - the round of hunting down the best deal starts now.
My cupboards and freezer are looking full (ish) now and menu plan is completed for September
Tuesday night will find me blackberry hunting - we will be volunteering for a couple of hours and go picking as well.
Best wishes

I've just finished your diary (after a couple of weeks) & just wanted to de-lurk to say hope Mr T gets some good news soon, fingers crossed. Your diary is really inspirational & I have now sorted my freezer, done more batch cooking and am gonna try making bread tomorrow - so thank you
Hope you have a lovely rest of the weekend. Hopefully there were some tips and I do evangelise about meal planning and keeping a check on what's in the larders/cupboards etc.
Good luck with your plans - have you started a diary yet? I'll have a look and check.
Best wishes

Hi Tilly, just been catching up. Glad you had a relaxing holiday and I wish Mr T well with the job search. My house insurance is up for renewal this month aswell and a couple of years ago I found a fab deal with cashback and M&S vouchers which came in very handy for Christmas food shopping.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Oh Tilly, you just reminded me! It's our first year with BT, so do you know if they send you a letter to remind you or just try and switch you to monthly payments etc?
Thanks, Cal x0 -
