Morning. Thanks to Courgette, I've been inspired to have a fiscal fast this coming week.
This means no food shopping to start with - I do have a special weekend coming up as we have a birthday celebration but the money for the food can come out of the birthday savings pot. However, I won't be buying food for meals after Sunday evening. Next week we can live out of the freezer, larder and garden. This should give me around £60-£80 extra to OP
I've done this a few times after Christmas/New Year and I'm doing it now to have a mental declutter as well.
Weather is grey but warm - I miss the blue sky
Have a good Thursday and roll on the weekend.

Tilly xFiscal fast, I like that
I like the idea of a fiscal fast too. On extreme cheapskates I think they called it a financial detox.

Yes..I like the term too. Think someone else was using it in here, but may be it was Courgette. I am certainly on a fiscal diet...a starvation one but tricky with birthdays etc to have a fast..but am with you in spirit Tilly!

What other thread please

I think I may be having a senior moment, but no clue what the other thread is, or a meme? No doubt someone will pop by and and help me out :rotfl:
