How did that work? Do the 3 for £10s etc. just deduct a set amount from the total? I had (wrongly) assumed that they'd recognise the lower prices of reduced items and wouldn't work (as you'd be spending less than the £10 'offer' price).

    Good bargains
That's right. I made sure I bought meats that were on offers, 2 for £7, 3 for £10 etc. I also did the same on some veg. This meant for some meats I was paying £2.50 after all the discounts. I've never known a supermarket close and move before, so can't imagine getting bargains like these again

I have to admit to going back 45 minutes before they finally closed their doors and the veg section was a free for all - nightmare - the remaining meat was not reduced though, so I definitely did the right thing going early in the morning :)

  • Morning El, still debating but Thailand, Malaysia are top of the lists at the moment. Plus Singapore.

We are spending time this weekend on further planning.

I checked out the recipe last night and that sounds delicious. There's a couple of things I don't have, but will be either substituting or buying the ingredients. DS will love them.

  • Morning GG, Froggy and US, you'll be glad to know the sun is out so washing can go on the line today.

GG, I'm sure Natty has a tumble drier with a light, so hopefully she can take over drying and ironing services :o

  • Morning, it's not often I feel low, but last night I felt completely weary. I was in bed by about 8.30pm and asleep quickly.

We did do a lot on the BH, so maybe I was catching up. Anyway, by now I should have walked the dogs and out a load of washing in and instead I'm still in bed  I am working from home though and my first call isn't until 9.30am thankfully.

Everything is ready for the FLW, thanks to Unhappy Shopper for alerting us. I have 15 things to go on which includes some summer clothes for DD. After that I'll only be selling stuff as I clear things out, as the backlog of stuff will be gone (assuming it sells :o)

No other updates but we are plodding on to MFdom.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

I'm another one who's weary this morning - I didn't get to sleep until 03:30 last night and I feel so tired this morning. My mind was racing last night, mulling over loads of stuff that's going on at the moment.

Still, I have a sort of day off today so there's nothing that absolutely has to be done today, which is just as well really.

Off to weigh in in a bit. NOT looking forward to that. Been very "off plan" this week.

    Have a good day Tilly.

Plenty of room, queen sized bed :). Loads of space but a b£gger to iron the bedding as they are huge and yes I do I iron it - I love getting into a freshly laundered bed :T

Good luck with your weigh in - maybe it's the weather. We were all so delighted to see a yellow thing in the sky, with blue stuff around it, that now we are back to grey, it's a bit depressing x x

    Another weary one here too.

I hung washing out this morning too as it is really windy and sort of sunny- the rain is supposed to start at lunchtime. It keeps coming on with little showers though so keep dashing to the window and trying to decide whether to haul it all back in or leave it out.

Your ironing puts me to shame- mine only sees the light of day in extreme circumstances!:o
