Could I have a coffee ? I'm currently unearthing more of the house we have buried in the back garden ( big white sandstone cottage , how on earth they managed to bury it is beyond me) so ill nip out just now and try and remove some more of the stone ( or possibly another dead animal you never know with my garden) but will pop back soon for a bit of cake and my coffee

Hope your good me dear ... Did you get the text I sent ? Or have I maybe got the wrong number ( typical Of me if I have lol
  • Hi El, got your text but only saw it today - my phone was buried in my bag :o. I must get back to you as I also need some advice on this amaz@n selling malarkey - I've set up the account etc but getting confused with the pricing, postage etc.

    Coffee is no problem :):)

Cheers for the coffee ... Much needed after digging in the stone yard I can assure you

If I can help with amazon in anyway let me know ...

You don't get to decide the price of postage sadly ... So if its a heavy book ensure that you are going to make enough in the book to cover the postage... I made the mistake with a Jamie Oliver book ... When I took it to the post office to post it was going to cost me more than I was making so I cancelled the order as I wasn't willing to loose money on it

    Hi Tilly
Prayer offered at High Mass this morning at St Francesco Basilica. The place was heaving as you can imagine so the prayer might still be "in clearing"!!!

  • Good morning

71p TT OP made this morning

I have some ironing to do this evening but should only take an hour :)

Dinner this evening is 'fridge pasta' as I have a few bits and pieces to use up.

Should be a few NSDs this week - I'm aiming for 4 in a row :).

I've already moved some money from the main current account and still on track to have £1k left over in the bank by payday (payday is under two weeks away). Food shopping on Saturday should be very low again and aiming for £20 (milk, fruit and green veg).

Whenever we spend cash it is recorded on the spending diary then money moved from the savings pots (either into the current a/c or into the CC saving pot). This has helped us to monitor our food spends but also stop the cash leaking which is easy to happen. I do need to remind myself of the date the CC DD comes out of the bank, so that I can move the money into the a/c.

That's it for now. I need to crack on and get ready for work early.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Good morning,

    7p TT OP this morning
    More ironing this evening :o
Quite a few home tasks going on at the moment and it's hard to remember them all. Going to write an old fashioned list this morning and just cross them off once complete.

A friend has given DS a bag of clothes - happy days as he is growing so quickly it's hard to keep up :)

Dinner this evening is chicken salad with jacket potato - that's the last of the salad and chicken used up.

CC DD is during the first week of the month - now I need to remind myself of the cut off date for statements

    Have a good Tuesday

  • Good morning, off to the office early today.

    26p TT OP this morning.
We have booked a few days away so need to shift money from holiday pot to current account
Still ironing to finish but that will have to wait until Thursday evening
Just remembered a couple of dates I need to put on the calendar - will do in a couple of mins.

Dinner this evening is pasta in a creme fraiche sauce with smoked ham and peppers/onions. May add tomato as I have two which need using up.

Have a good day and after today we are heading for the weekend.
