Mr T has sorted an insurance claim which needed finishing :) further £256 due from insurance company - guess where that is going :)

He also had a significant win at a garage for work done eighteen months ago. It caused a major fault with the car - £500 returned to the credit card, plus they have fixed the problem.

I have half a day off at the end of the week, so am off to close down three children's accounts which are no longer used :). All monies will be paid into their new local building society on far better rates. Won't be much I think but it all helps.

Right no more updates, I have to get on a call

Morning GG, I have a mental age of mid 30s and my sense of fun is still the same. I think DD will definitely be older than I am fairly soon.
Remember I've met you both. She already is :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Hi GG, wouldn't surprise me at all - she's taken the hounds for another run this morning - two runs, same route, one dog each time. Have to take the dogs out in the right order though, otherwise the other howls :o

Haha- this made me smile - My mum and dad used to have two border collies and we had to plan which to take out first too. IT gets you thinking - who has who trained??:p

This thread just got scary. DD1 is virtually as tall as me and dd2 is only a teeny bit smaller. Already can do a proper girly fun shop with dd1. dd2 and 3 still mother /daughter shopping experience but dd1 has become very scarily sensible. Has been quite frank for a while about what I shouldnt wear!!!

  • Morning, sadly I have no pennies in any accounts :o

I do however have a variety of piggies to empty which will help :). I am going to pay them into the bank on Saturday :T

This no spending malarkey is all well and good but results in little activity in the bank.

DD bought DH a book for his upcoming birthday, however when we looked it up on Amaz@n it was £9 cheaper, so she is returning the book and I've ordered it for her. Not far off half price which makes a big difference to her funds. How will shops ever keep their customers if the price difference is that much :(.

I'm still aiming to be sub £200k after June mortgage OPs. That will be a big motivator. £1...... I really can't wait :T

No lodgers yet, although two are viewing over the weekend. I've never experienced this before as it's always been easy to fill rooms. Maybe we are being too particular :( however that's not going to change as it is our home :o

I need to check the menu plan this morning as I have to raid the freezer.

Two PC surveys completed yesterday so another £6 on the way.

With the H&G mag there's a hotel supplement and beautiful places to visit. It was lovely to sit and dream of places we can visit when this humongous mortgage has gone. Plus it will be just Mr & Mrs T, it'll be like having another honeymoon :j

For a short week, it's seemed very long - enjoy Friday
