  • Evening, a friend of mine set a company up selling stuff on eb@y for people, then taking a % of the sold price as commission. I thought she was quite mad at the time but I can completely understand how she makes her money now. I picked a tip up from one of the diaries on here, to photograph and do the spiel, as you're going along. I have to say I don't do this for all, but I have done it occasionally when I was feeling organised.

Next FLW will be a mix of some electronic stuff and clothes.

Turning to money matters. I've had a builder round today to talk about some building work in the garden. Another is coming on Wednesday so by the end of the week, I'll end up with prices and can start making some decisions.

An OP of £65 today - Mr T has sold some car bit from the garage. No pennies to tidy at all :(

That's all my money updates for now. Have a good evening, Tilly x

sounds like ebay has been good to you this time Tilly, i'm gonna wait till the next free insert weekend then put a few things up, i have quite a lot to go so it will be good to get started. how is the toilet roll supply going? i'm down to about my last 60 or so rolls :)
  • Good grief El, I may be down to 300 rolls now :rotfl: truthfully I don't know, but the pile is not person height now.

There is so much space in the garage now - looks much better.

I've been wracking my brain about the other site to sell books, for you, but I can't remember it at all.

Hope all is well and the sugar tidies are still on the go :T

    Best wishes Tilly x x

It is great to get space in the garage isn't it Tilly ... We did ours on Sunday an the difference is nothing short of amazing tbh

The sugar shuffles are back, but I can't do one today as for the second time since I started them I bought sugar :( ... Saw a marzipan sweet in aldi and just "had" to have it ... They will be back tomorrow with a vengeance though :)

But I did get a Tilly tidy so all is good :)

Green Metropolis can be ok at certain times of year (for example, folk going on their summer hols). That said, do work out the true reward for selling a book. I have stopped using it as it was working out at less than £1 'profit' after postage and packaging. Considering I typically wait 10 mins in the Post Office, I'd probably be just as well going to work instead :D

Thanks, that was the one. I was feeling so frustrated that I couldn't remember, so thanks for saving my sanity.
