Hi Tilly's regulars,
Good Morning :-) Hope many of you have been making regular 3p OPs.
Alas our mortgage lender allows only £1 minimum. So my roadkill pennies sit in my Fujitsu pig before OPing (found a 50p coin yesterday in the cycle stand :j)
Well done Tilly on your ebay sales  I have been catching up on your diary for almost half an hour now. The storyline moves at a fast pace

Bums! We let our roofer dispose of ours.kirstypark wrote: »well done on the ebay sales, I am thinking of trying this again, and you have inspired me.
Polly, i sold an old water tank last year to scrap metal place and got £65 for it. Our plumber had offered to dispose of it for us, very glad we didn't take him up on his "kind" offer!0 -
Morning, all the eb@y stuff bar two items have been posted or collected. The last two are being collected this coming week.
Mr T is decorating the utility room this weekend. It's a very small room and with the two dogs in and out of the garden, the paintwork suffers. He's trying a new paint which is better for wiping down, as a test to see if it is easier to clean. If it is easier, the kitchen will have the same treatment.
Off to church this morning and then a long walk with DS.
Had a glorious afternoon and evening with friends yesterday. We haven't seen then for about 6 months and it was great to catch up.
Dinner this evening is steak, salad and HM bread. That is a real treat these days and appreciated far more than it was in our non :money: life. Hope that comes across right on here.
Need to jump up and get cracking, I've got a bit if ironing to do before leaving.
Have a fab Sunday

I've just been reading Lula's diary and she's reminded me I have a Balenciag@ handbag, in my bag box (wicker laundry basket), which I never use these days. Just checked the prices on eb@y, so this may be another avenue to go down. It's a bit like my shoe collection, I have loads and wear about 5 pairs - the rest I look at periodically - why do I keep them
So when I have a peaceful weekend, I will tackle the bags and shoes and see what can go. The mortgage is more important to us.
In fact Mr T has around 8-10 suits, of which he wears 2. Even if he went back to working in an office 5 days a week he still doesn't need that many. Will check whether they sell as well :T. I promise I won't steal his clothes from the wardrobe, but as he has twice as many as me, I am sure he could scale it down a bit.
Maybe I should read Museum Workers diary to him, as I'm sure she has experimented with project 30, or a title similar to that. I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe and did clear out a load of stuff last year.
Off to hatch some cunning plan

Whilst I remember, all DDs are set up with Halif@x now so we won't miss the £10 a month. (2 a/c).
Standing orders set up just to pay the money into Halif@x needed for these, then the normal shuffle will take place each month. That way we know we will always have enough money in the account to honour the DDs. They are all small ones so it's not a big sacrifice.
Boy I really am putting the ironing off - bye

Poor Mr T.I hope you leave him some clothes :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi Tilly, I've just changes the dd's n our halifax accts, I must admit I was tempted not to bother as its more to keep an eye on , but for £120 a year it had to be done

Excuse me Mrs.... How can you forget about having a Balenciaga bag stashed in a box somewhere? Would love to know which one it is? Style, colour etc etc? Depending on what it is, I might be able to help you sell it. Do you have all the paperwork and dust bag etc?
Btw - I know exactly what you mean the steak. We consider it as a real treat now too. Most of the time we cook up meals that can be portioned and popped in the freezer, so a steak is a nice treat. Like you, we just used to this for granted, so appreciate it more now.0 -
