Don't knock the 1p OPs, it won't be long until I'm doing them! Lol.

All the gym work sounds amazing (if a little scary). Think I'd better stick to longer walks for the dog for a bit.... :-)

Tilly, do you have any tips for ebaying? I have done a bit before but may as well spend a bit of time this time as Mr AJM has loads of reports to write and I could do with trying to shift some of this stuff. I am also considering listing my study books online finally.

Hi AJ, quick response as I was just checking the diaries again before heading on up to bed :):)

I don't have any tips for eb@y at all, I hate doing it but continue just to create some space and gain some extra OP money.

DH did sell some of his OU stuff and I sold loads of gardening books which went well. Ladies boots surprised me as they were successful. Bundles of kids clothes always went well when they were smaller. Kitchen equipment has sold.

Ammonite is good with it though, although she's not posting as much at the moment due to arrival of mini Ammonite.

I'm sure someone will read this and offer to help though.

  • Morning,

59p a/c tidy OP, this took me down into another 000 bracket, only by a penny but it was good to see it.

Due to the rest of the Tilly family being ill, I've cancelled a trip out with friends on Saturday, so it's a quiet family weekend. Just dosed Mr T up with cold remedies, he's rarely ill so I am looking after him :)

I on the other hand am back to normal and brimming with energy - roll on the ironing.

Shopping will be at Mr S and I'll use PC LV to pay :)

Have a good day, Tilly x

That's the spirit:T I've been getting anxious at the thought of you not being around and we have to put up with GG without you:)

    Love you too Nats :kisses3:.
I've got to get GG to hurry up a bit, I have visions of us sitting on the beach together, enjoying a sundowner - remembering the 1p OPs :rotfl:

Well seeing as you put it like that........... stop selling me stuff woman .

Hope Mr T will be well enough to get off his sick bed and make dinner :D.

  • £8.93 spend, whoops :)

    Milk, fruit, broccoli, leeks, tuna

Resisted temptation to put a cake in the trolley, well Mr T put it in and I took it out. However I am making a cake in a moment to have with a cuppa later on.

Garlic soup currently cooking as MrT and DD are too ill to fancy dinner, so I'm making soup instead. Pork stuff switching to tomorrow :)

    Have a good day

I've got to put a couple of bits of china on eBay and I loathe it too. I always post really honestly but still end up worrying that a buyer will find something I was unaware of. Must just focus on the OP opportunity!

Sounds intriguing - I quite like garlic. I get off the bus just across the road from a popular local Italian restaurant when I'm coming home and the smell normally leaves me ravenous! :)

Poor DD and Mr T are really under the weather. These bugs are truly horrible and seem to linger. Garlic soup not eaten as neither were up to anything, however, will try again for lunch.

No pennies anywhere to OP, although I did find 2p in the park the other day :)

Both cats are sitting on the window ledges sunbathing - I can't wait for Spring - change in air, veg seeds growing, lighter days. I guess once February is over things will take a turn for the better. I live in hope.

Today will be another NSD, I've never tracked these before but we are doing well. The shopping yesterday was mainly paid with LV, with £6LV and the remainder in cash, so that also means no money out of the bank. This may mean my OP made just after I'm paid can be increased. Time will tell.

DS and I are off volunteering for a couple of hours this morning, will be good to get some fresh air.

MrT is also looking at cars. This would definitely impact our MF date. I can understand that after 5 years and close to 120k miles it would be good to have a new one but I'd rather keep pushing on. His view is that we have another couple of years with both kids at home, lets have a bigger car in the meantime. He is being practical though and searching for the spec he wants on cars 1 yr old. I have no idea how this will end but could mean going back to 4-5-16. MF just as Mr T hits 48. Can I persuade him to want to be MF whilst still 47 I wonder?

We would sell a car privately to help fund it as well - the trade in value was a joke. This would mean I have more room in the garage for my larder :)

Whatever we decide has to be a family decision :). The art of balancing MF desires with living our lives certainly has its challenges.

That's all the news. I need to crack on and get some more jobs done before heading off out.

    Have a good day.
