    Hi Tilly and everyone else.
I also batch cook and have a huge freezer. We mainly use Lakeland freezer bags which you can the use as boil in the bag. Makes it easier to pack mosre in the freezer and so easy to heat up.
Have some other containers for pies, enchiladas etc (like the pyrex ones with lids for things ready to go in oven.)

was on kitje's thread on dfw and pavlovs dog came up with a good idea with paste it below ... might help with the organising of freezers

i know some people on OS decant food into a freezer bag and then place into a tub to freeze. Food freezes in the shape of the tub (and is therefore stackable in the freezer) but they can take the tub away and reuse it, rather than needing a large stock of tubs

I freeze in bags in a tub too. No idea who's thread I knicked the idea from but it works well! The frozen slabs take up a lot less room and I don't need to have so many boxes either! :) I use cheap freezer bags and place the slabs into another much sturdier x-large freezer bag (often ziplock) with similar things eg soups together etc.

  • Sadly no ironing achieved today :o. This thing called work got in the way and instead of having to listen it ended up being an online presentation. So that job has moved to tomorrow.

Hope everyone has had a good Tuesday and I am looking forward to Wednesday evening knowing that we are on the run down to the weekend.

    Morning,

Working from home and will do the ironing, it may make me take a lunch break

I've come down with a delightful cold and coughing like some mad woman. This has stopped me doing shred or kettle bell work. Once this goes I will get back to it. It's in print now so that will guilt me into it :rotfl:

    Have a good day
